Ventura Hotel Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Ventura Hotel? Walking up to this four-star place on Griboedov Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – the street’s pretty quiet, tucked away from the main tourist chaos near the Boulevard. But then you step inside and it’s like, oh okay, someone actually put thought into this place.

The location is actually pretty clever when you think about it. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk from all the Batumi waterfront madness, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM (trust me, that’s a real thing in this city, especially during summer). Griboedov runs parallel to some of the busier streets, so you get this weird perfect balance where everything’s accessible but you can actually sleep at night. The staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing too – check-in was smooth, none of that awkward “let me find someone who speaks English” dance you sometimes get in Georgian hotels.

Here’s what I really liked: the rooms feel properly maintained, not just styled for Instagram photos. I mean, sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything worked the way it should. The shower had actual water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue), the AC didn’t sound like a dying helicopter, and the beds were firm enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been sleeping in a hammock. The breakfast setup was solid too – nothing fancy, but they had local stuff mixed in with the standard hotel fare, which honestly made me happy. There’s something about trying Georgian bread and cheese first thing in the morning that just sets the right tone for exploring the city. The only minor thing that bugged me was the elevator – it’s one of those tiny European ones that makes you question whether you really need to bring your entire suitcase upstairs, but that’s pretty standard for the area. Look, with a 7.7 rating, you know it’s not perfect, but it hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting good value without any major headaches. If you’re planning to actually explore Batumi instead of just lounging around your hotel room, this works really well as a comfortable base.

Batumi hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in this rapidly developing resort city, known for its casino culture, subtropical gardens, and world-class entertainment venues.

  • Exceptional – Regina from Georgia – December 9, 2022 (10/10)

My reason for renting was an unusual one – I didn't have water at my apartment for a two days, so I mostly just needed a bathroom. Therefore, I was staying there for just a one day, haven't even spent the night, so I can't say a lot, but, from what I've noticed: my room was clean, the beds were soft enough, the design was fine, the hot water was present and the bathroom was clean and had all the necessities. I think, it is a good stay for the tourists, it's close to the beach and comfortable.

  • It was worth the price. – Dias from Kazakhstan – November 27, 2022 (7/10)

What could be improved: You can hear pretty much everything happening in the building, window view isn’t private, cold rooms.

  • Good stay. – Ali from United Arab Emirates – November 9, 2022 (10/10)

It was near to sea view, easy access to restaurants and visiting places

  • Pleasant – Mikhail from Georgia – November 3, 2022 (6/10)

    clean, good location

What could be improved: Gave me room with separate beds, but I had booked with big single.
Bad sound isolation, heared loud sounds in evenings. Low light in the room.

  • Very Good – Altaf from Saudi Arabia – September 24, 2022 (8/10)

Staff was very good and corporative

What could be improved: No lift
    Breakfast with very limited items

  • it is a good choice if you are looking for a place just to sleep for short stay – Olga from Russia – September 15, 2022 (8/10)

Great location: it is near to the sea, Batumi mall, restaurants
it is quite and not crowded

What could be improved: Breakfast is ok, but it is poor
