I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Tamar’s Apartment, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But this four-star place on Inasaridze Street completely surprised me in the best way possible. You know how sometimes apartment-style accommodations can feel a bit… improvised? Well, this isn’t one of those places. Tamar (or whoever’s running things now) has really thought this through, and it shows from the moment you walk into apartment 81 on the eighth floor.

The location is actually pretty clever – Inasaridze 18 puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to Batumi’s action without being stuck in the chaos of the main tourist strips. I mean, you can walk to the Boulevard and the beach in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant hum of traffic and late-night revelers that comes with staying right on Rustaveli Avenue. The building itself is one of those newer developments that’s become pretty common in this part of the city – nothing too fancy from the outside, but well-maintained and secure. There’s an elevator, which honestly saved my back after lugging suitcases around Georgia for two weeks.

What really won me over was how much thought went into making this feel like an actual home rather than just a place to crash. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that you don’t usually get in hotels – real furniture that someone actually chose (not just ordered from a hospitality catalog), a kitchen that’s properly stocked if you want to grab some khachapuri from the nearby bakery and heat it up for breakfast, and windows that actually open wide enough to let in those sea breezes that make Batumi evenings so perfect. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters more than I’d like to admit, and the shower pressure is surprisingly good – something that can be hit or miss in this part of the world. I stayed here during shoulder season in May, and while I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the summer months when Georgian families flock to the coast, the neighborhood itself stays relatively quiet. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that would keep you awake unless you’re an incredibly light sleeper. The whole setup just makes sense for travelers who want a bit more space and independence than a traditional hotel room offers, especially if you’re planning to stay in Batumi for more than just a quick weekend trip.

  good location good facilities . The owner look so kind.He can’t speak English but willing to help us and give us to communicate with his nephew by WhatsApp in English.

  Место расположения отличное. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. Рядом Батумский пивоваренный завод, и много различных кафе, два сетевых продуктовых магазина. Тихое место.
