Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Swiss Quality Apartments (Beach Tower), I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But after staying there on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I get why this place has such a stellar reputation in Batumi. It’s actually one of those four-star properties that punches way above its weight, and that 9.5 rating? Yeah, it’s earned.

The thing that hits you right away is how they’ve nailed the apartment-style setup without losing any of the hotel perks you actually want. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchenettes with everything you need (and I’m talking real appliances, not those sad mini-fridges), but housekeeping still takes care of you daily. The apartments themselves feel genuinely spacious – something that’s honestly rare in Batumi’s newer developments. What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the furnishing; everything feels deliberate and well-chosen, not like they just ordered a bulk hotel furniture package and called it a day.

Here’s what locals won’t tell you but you need to know: Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is perfectly positioned between the tourist chaos and where actual life happens in Batumi. You’re close enough to walk to the beach and the Boulevard (maybe 7-8 minutes on foot), but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds that plague the waterfront properties. The neighborhood has this nice mix of cafes and small shops that aren’t obviously targeting tourists – you know what I mean, places where you can grab actual good coffee without paying resort prices. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in Batumi will appreciate.

The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, and I noticed they remember details about guests even after just a day or two. During my stay, they helped sort out a small issue with the AC without any of that “we’ll look into it” runaround you get at bigger chain places. The building itself has good bones – solid construction, reliable elevators, and you don’t hear every conversation from neighboring rooms. Actually, the soundproofing impressed me more than it probably should have, but after staying in some of Batumi’s thinner-walled properties, it was refreshing to sleep through the night undisturbed.

  The best thing in this room was all the facilities that made our lives easier. It was super clean and very comfortable I would absolutely recommend this place if you want to have excellent accommodation in batumi. Also the view was amazing I can’t even describe it. Make yourself a favour and book this room it will upgrade your vacation really. It was the best decision we made

  Very clean and nice apartment – includes everything you might need. The view is truly fantastic! Sergey and Aneli were very friendly and helpful with everything. Would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone travelling to Batumi!

  Of all the places in Georgia we stayed at, this was the best one in terms of everything. The view was amazing and relatives even did not believe that it is the view from the apartments; the host is so welcoming and friendly in communication (he even gave us two Georgian wines, which was really nice of him and the wines were perfect, of course); also the location is really convenient. The best of the best! 🙂

  The view from the balcony is amazing, room is clean and spacious and wine from the hosts was a great treat! The location is not central, but the center of the city is not far away, and the walkway along the sea is right near the building.

  The apartment was great. Sea view was amazing from 29th floor where the apartment is located. From the balcony you will see wide park/garden named Lech Kaczynski's Park – former president of Poland who sympathized with Georgia. Apart from the park, this marvellous view includes sea and shopping mall. The apartment is well-equipped and very warm. Free car parking is available on the street in the neighborhood, it's always easy to find something there.

  Apartment was perfectly cleaned and it had all things which we may have imagined we would need – microwave, dishwasher, laundry machine and even powder for it so we didn't have to worry about buying our own. We had everything we needed and even more and our housekeeper Aneli took care of us very nicely. We could contact her with any question and she was helping us with nothing but kindness which was great support for our first visit in Batumi.
  We will not have to look for apartment for our next visit in Batumi because we've already found perfect one. 🙂
