I’ll be honest – when I first walked into ORBI LUX STUDIO on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment building from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places in Batumi are the ones that don’t shout about themselves from the street. This four-star property actually gets it right in ways that surprised me, and I mean that as someone who’s stayed in way too many so-called “luxury” places along the Georgian coast that promise the world and deliver maybe half of it.

The studio itself feels genuinely thought-out – not like someone just threw some IKEA furniture into a room and called it a day. There’s this nice balance between having enough space to actually live in (the kitchenette is properly equipped, not just decorative) while still feeling cozy rather than sterile. The bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache, and honestly, the air conditioning works well, which matters more than you’d think during Batumi’s humid summers. What really caught my attention was how quiet it stays at night despite being in the city – the building seems solid, and you’re just far enough from the main tourist chaos around the boulevard. I actually slept past my alarm, which never happens when I travel.

The location works better than I expected, too. You’re about a ten-minute walk from the beach and the main strip, but here’s the thing – you’re close enough to everything without being right in the middle of the late-night party zone that can make other parts of Batumi pretty exhausting. There’s a decent grocery store maybe three blocks away, and I found a couple of local spots for coffee that weren’t tourist traps. The staff – well, they’re not going to win awards for chattiness, but they’re efficient and actually helpful when you need something. Check-in was smooth, no drama about arrival times or extra fees that seem to pop up everywhere else. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with flashy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, but if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring Batumi without paying resort prices or dealing with resort crowds, this place actually delivers on what it promises. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  This is probably the best reservation you can make with this price. It was very easy to get the house key at the reception. Everything was very comfortable and clean, the view was great, the house had everything you'd need for 2 people during a short stay.
