The location is actually pretty clever once you figure it out. Sure, you’re not right on the main tourist drag, but that’s kind of the point – you get this peaceful base while still being close enough to walk to the Boulevard and the beach in about ten minutes. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the city. When I asked about good khachapuri spots (because honestly, that’s half the reason to visit Georgia), they didn’t just point me toward tourist traps but gave me actual local recommendations. The rooms themselves are spacious – and I mean genuinely spacious, not that “spacious by European standards” thing hotels sometimes claim. The suites especially have this nice separation between living and sleeping areas that makes longer stays feel less cramped.

Here’s the thing though – while the 7.8 rating might seem modest for a five-star spot, I think it’s pretty honest. The hotel delivers on comfort and service, but it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow during busy periods, and the breakfast, while good, isn’t going to blow you away. But what won me over was the consistency – reliable Wi-Fi (crucial when you’re trying to navigate Georgian transport apps), proper air conditioning that actually works, and housekeeping that doesn’t wake you up at 8 AM. Plus, there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels like locals might actually recommend it rather than just tolerating it because tourists stay there. The whole experience just felt… well, comfortable in an understated way that made exploring Batumi’s mix of old Soviet architecture and new developments feel more relaxed.

  Close to the sea and cleaned daily. Service desk did their best and stayed friendly (David). Washmachine is a plus 🙂
  We had three balconies, but could be improved by having chairs to actually use these.
  
  What could be improved: If i knew there are only three elevators (6pers max) and one with code (i guess employees?) i wouldnt have booked it.
  We used stairs a lot, it was busy all day long queue more then ten minutes 🙂
  Breakfast, not much to choose from.
  My advice would be to get a low floor room.

  What could be improved: They don’t have shatafa in the bathroom, and I couldn’t use the balcony because sanitation smell was extremely strong even tho I was in the 10th floor, also the smell outside the building when you wanna go to the hotel was extremely bad
