The thing about staying here is the location – you’re sort of perched above the main hustle of Batumi but close enough that you can walk down to the Boulevard in maybe ten minutes (though honestly, going back up that hill after a night out is… well, let’s just say the taxi fare is worth it). What really got me was stepping into the lobby for the first time – there’s this sleek, almost space-age design that somehow works perfectly without being too over-the-top. The staff actually remembers your name after day one, which you know is rare these days, and they genuinely seem to care about making sure you’re sorted.

The rooms themselves are spacious – I mean, really spacious by European standards – with these floor-to-ceiling windows that give you proper views of either the mountains or the Black Sea, depending on which side you’re on. Pro tip: the sea-view rooms are obviously pricier, but if you’re traveling in summer, the mountain-view ones are actually quieter since you’re facing away from the beach crowds. The beds are properly comfortable (none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense), and the bathrooms have rainfall showers that actually have decent pressure. Small detail, but the air conditioning works brilliantly – crucial when Batumi gets sticky in July and August. I stayed during peak season and never felt like I was fighting other guests for pool chairs or restaurant tables, though the place was definitely busy. The rooftop area becomes this lovely spot in the evenings where you can grab a drink and watch the sunset without dealing with the Boulevard crowds below. Honestly, for a city that’s grown so quickly as a tourist destination, finding a hotel that feels both luxurious and genuinely comfortable isn’t always easy, but Sputnik manages to hit that sweet spot where you feel pampered without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with five-star properties.

  The view was great , reception was very attentive and friendly. We arrived early and they even gave us free early check in. Restaurant in the hotel has very delicious Pizza. Definately will come back

  We liked the amenities and the hospitality at the property and since it was on the hill top, balcony view was good. They also upgraded our room which was very generous.
  
  What could be improved: When we reached our room, the fridge was not working and it needed a replacement which was doen timely but all this should be checked beforehand. Very limited items in the breakfast menu and also just 4 food items for room service to eat.
  Further, the playroom needs maintenance.

  Room was spacious, clean bedsheets and the jacuzzi in the room was wonderful. The view from the room was stunning. Located on a hill we can enjoy the sight of batumi city.
