The lobby doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble everything, which I actually appreciated after staying in some overly ornate places in the region. What struck me most was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area – when I asked about getting to the botanical garden, the concierge didn’t just hand me a brochure but actually sketched out the best route and mentioned which marshrutka to catch. The rooms are well-appointed without being stuffy, and I have to say, the soundproofing is solid (important when you’re this close to the city center but want to actually sleep). The bathroom situation is particularly good – proper water pressure and none of that temperamental hot water you sometimes get in Georgian hotels.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re walking distance from the old town charm but far enough from the casino strip that you’re not dealing with late-night noise. There’s this great little bakery about two blocks down that the hotel staff recommended – turns out it’s where half the locals grab their morning khachapuri. The parking situation is actually manageable here too, which anyone who’s driven in Batumi will tell you is no small thing. I’ll be honest, the 7.5 rating seems about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with revolutionary luxury, but it delivers consistently on the details that matter. The Wi-Fi works properly throughout the building, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and checkout was refreshingly straightforward. If you’re looking for a reliable base in Batumi that feels more like a well-run hotel than a tourist factory, this is worth considering.

  I had a good stay at this hotel in Batumi. The location is excellent, right on the shore of the Black Sea, offering stunning views and a peaceful environment. Everything was overall fine, and I enjoyed my time here. My only suggestion is that the hotel may need some renovations in the near future to keep up its standards.   Everything is great.
  Breakfast is very good, they charge for every single change!
  They will clean your room each time you say, even more than a day.
  The sauna, gym and pool are awesome, clean and warm
  
  What could be improved: They had construction in the yard, we could not use the outdoor pool, actually, it was so cold, so the construction made no change.

  They do not accept early check in, you have to pay for a whole day 😭
