Inasaridze Street runs parallel to the coast, so you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Black Sea promenade, but far enough back that you don’t get the constant buzz of tourists and street vendors that can drive you crazy near the main drag. I loved stepping out in the morning and grabbing coffee from the little Georgian bakery two blocks down – the locals there started recognizing me after just three days, which tells you something about the neighborhood vibe. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (or at least designed it like they would), not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and covered in plastic. The kitchen had real spices in the cabinet, the bathroom had decent water pressure – honestly, these details matter way more than fancy marble everywhere.

What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so close to the action. During the day you can hear the city humming along, but once evening settles in, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you consider that this place delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. The host was incredibly responsive too – when I couldn’t figure out the quirky Georgian electrical outlets (they’re different than what I expected), someone was up to help within twenty minutes, even though it was past 10 PM. I also appreciated that they didn’t make check-in some complicated ordeal with a million forms and deposit holds. You can tell they’ve figured out how to make travelers feel welcome without all the bureaucratic nonsense that bigger hotels seem to love. If you’re planning to explore Batumi properly – and I mean really explore it, not just hit the casino and beach – this is the kind of base you want. Close enough to walk everywhere that matters, comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to hang out there between adventures, and priced so you can spend your money on the incredible Georgian food instead of just a place to sleep.
