Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Cozy Sea View Studio#3 Queen Bed Free Wi-Fi Washer Balcony, I thought someone just threw every possible amenity into the title and called it a day. But you know what? Sometimes the straightforward approach actually works, and this little three-star studio delivers pretty much exactly what it promises.

The location on Zgvispiri street is actually perfect if you want to be close to the action without being right in the middle of the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the main boulevard and all those flashy casinos, but far enough up the hill that you get some actual peace and quiet. The balcony – which honestly is what sold me on this place – faces west toward the Black Sea, so you get these incredible sunset views that make you forget you’re staying in what’s essentially a budget apartment. The queen bed is surprisingly comfortable (I was expecting some saggy Soviet-era mattress), and having that washer was a total game-changer for a longer stay. There’s something oddly satisfying about doing laundry while looking out at the sea, even if the washing machine sounds like it’s launching into orbit.

What really impressed me about this setup is how functional everything feels. The Wi-Fi actually works – and I mean really works, not that painful hotel internet that cuts out every five minutes. The kitchenette is small but has everything you need if you want to grab some fresh produce from the market down the hill instead of eating out every meal. Speaking of which, there’s this little Georgian bakery about three blocks away that does incredible khachapuri early in the morning, and honestly, eating that warm cheese bread on the balcony while watching Batumi wake up became my daily ritual. The studio gets pretty good natural light during the day, though it can get warm in the afternoons if you don’t open the balcony door – just something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during summer. The neighborhood itself has this nice residential feel with enough local spots that you don’t feel like you’re stuck in tourist-land, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Alphabet Tower or the dancing fountains when you want to do the classic Batumi things. It’s definitely not luxury – this is more like staying at a friend’s well-organized apartment – but sometimes that’s exactly what you want, especially when you can sit on that balcony with a glass of Georgian wine and watch the cargo ships drift across the horizon.
