Sometimes the best discoveries come when your expectations are modest. This little gem sits just a few blocks back from the main Batumi Boulevard action, which actually turned out to be perfect – close enough to walk to everything, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant hum of tourists and street vendors at all hours.

The thing about this place is that it really feels like staying in someone’s well-kept apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. I mean, the owner clearly put thought into making it comfortable – there’s actual counter space in the kitchenette (rare in Georgia, trust me), and the shower has decent water pressure, which is honestly a small miracle in this part of town. What really won me over was the little balcony situation – nothing fancy, but perfect for morning coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up. You’ll hear the old ladies chatting as they head to the local market, kids playing in the courtyard below. It’s that authentic Georgian residential vibe that you just can’t get staying right on the tourist strip.

The location is actually smarter than it first appears. Sure, you’re not literally oceanfront, but the five-minute walk to the beach means you avoid the inflated prices and chaos of the beachside hotels. Plus, you’re right in the heart of where actual Batumi residents live and work – there’s this fantastic khachapuri place two blocks down that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed closer to the waterfront. The nearby bus stops make it super easy to explore beyond the city center too, and honestly, parking around here is way less of a headache than near the main hotels. I stayed here during shoulder season in late September, and while the summer crowds had thinned out, everything was still open and the weather was actually perfect for walking around. The whole experience just felt more genuine than the typical hotel stay – like I was getting a real taste of how people actually live in this charming, slightly chaotic seaside city.

  Хорошая и комфортная квартира, отлично подходит для семьи с детьми. Чисто, все удобства, хорошее месторасположение в 5-7 мин. ходьбы до пляжа. Есть парковка, что было важно для нас. Сам район мне очень нравится, много фруктовых/овощных лотков, обменников, магазинов, мой любимый ресторан GourmanD по пути к морю. Мамука гостеприимный хозяин, угощал вином и чачей, спасибо!

  Great apartment- even better than in the pictures! Comfy bad, spatious with a great balcony, a lot of utils, very close to the beach, there is a 24/7 working supermarket accross the street, we really enjoyed our stay, and will come again!

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! The cleanliness was impeccable, making it a comfortable and inviting place to return to each day. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The alignment of the bedrooms was convenient, and the guest room was spacious enough to work and relax in.
