Sea Line Aparthotel & Batumi Beach Resort Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Sea Line Aparthotel & Batumi Beach Resort? It’s actually right there on the beach – and I mean literally steps from the water, not some “beachfront” place where you need a shuttle. Walking down Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, you’ll spot this sleek building that honestly looks more modern than half the hotels I’ve stayed at in major European cities. The whole setup is pretty impressive for a five-star property, especially considering Batumi’s hotel scene has really stepped up its game in recent years.
The aparthotel concept works brilliantly here – you get proper apartment-style rooms with kitchenettes, which is perfect since Batumi’s restaurant scene, while good, can get pricey if you’re eating out every meal. I actually ended up cooking breakfast a few times using ingredients from the local markets, and having that fridge space was a game-changer. The beach access is the real winner though. You can literally roll out of bed, grab your towel, and be on the sand in under two minutes. No crowded elevators down to some distant beach club – just straight out the door. The Black Sea here isn’t exactly the Caribbean, but in summer it’s surprisingly warm, and watching the sunset from the shore with Batumi’s skyline lighting up behind you? Pretty magical, honestly.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being right in the mix of things. The building’s positioned so you don’t get the street noise from the busier parts of town, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Boulevard or grab dinner at one of those excellent Georgian restaurants near the port. The staff actually knows the area – when I asked about getting to the cable car, they didn’t just point me toward a taxi but told me about the marshrutka route that locals use. Small thing, but it shows they get that travelers want authentic experiences, not just tourist traps. The rooms themselves feel more like upscale apartments than hotel rooms – good lighting for actually reading, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re washing in a closet. I mean, it’s not perfect – the elevator can be slow during busy times, and if you’re not into the beach scene, the location might feel a bit isolated from Batumi’s old town charm. But for a proper beach resort experience with the flexibility of apartment living, it really delivers on what it promises.

Reviews of Sea Line Aparthotel & Batumi Beach Resort
Fair – Mnatsakanyan from Armenia – August 22, 2025 (5/10)
Room was comfortable and clear, bathroom was ok – just there wasn't cloth on ground, view was good.
Location was good near to sea, Visited a couple of places like botanical garden, carousels, the ships
What could be improved: I will never come to Batumi for the beach and holiday. The beach is basalt stones, not sand — it was terrible. Sometimes the city's rainwater, and mainly sewage, would flow into the sea, and you had to wait a day and not swim. Otherwise, swimming in sewage is the root of disease.
There weren’t any parking places. During 30 minutes we had 5–6 different people asking for money for parking, but even if you paid them, your car had to stay until the end of your holiday. A few days later I found out it was illegal. We left our cars 1 km away, and when I took my car back, it was damaged in two places.
The location of the apartment was good — it was near the beach. But there were thousands of people in the building, the elevators were always full, and sometimes you had to wait 15 minutes or more.
About the service: the host sent me a message with the room number. I went there with my family and a couple of pieces of luggage, waited 20 minutes for the elevator, and went up to the room, thinking it was ours. But the host then told me that it was just the registration room, and that I had to take my luggage and family to another building on the 44th floor — just a joke, and not serious at all.Exceptional – Venera from Kazakhstan – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
