Panorama Batumi Beach Resort Overview
You know what really strikes you about Panorama Batumi Beach Resort? It’s one of those places where the name actually delivers on its promise – and honestly, that doesn’t happen as often as you’d think. Walking up to this five-star property on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, you immediately get why they chose that spot. The building rises up from what’s basically Batumi’s prime beachfront real estate, and from most rooms (especially the higher floors), you’re looking out over the Black Sea with Georgia’s dramatic coastline stretching in both directions.
I mean, Batumi’s got this whole thing going on where it’s trying to be the Las Vegas of the Caucasus – there’s all these flashy casinos and modern high-rises – but this resort manages to feel elegant without being gaudy. The lobby’s got this understated luxury vibe, lots of marble and warm lighting, and the staff actually seems to know what they’re doing (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given even at expensive places). What really sold me though was stepping out onto their beach area. Most hotels in the area either don’t have direct beach access or they’re sharing it with half the city, but here you’ve got this semi-private stretch where you can actually hear the waves over the usual Batumi hustle. The rooms themselves are spacious – I stayed in one facing the sea and watched fishing boats heading out early in the morning, which was surprisingly peaceful for a city that never really sleeps.
The thing about this place is it gets the details right in ways that matter when you’re actually staying there. The air conditioning works properly (crucial during Batumi summers), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and room service arrives while your food’s still hot. Their restaurant does this excellent khachapuri that’s honestly better than what you’ll find at most local spots, and the wine selection includes some really solid Georgian varieties that you might not discover otherwise. Location-wise, you’re close enough to walk to the botanical garden if you’re feeling ambitious, and the cable car station isn’t far if you want those panoramic city views. The only minor downside? During peak summer season (July-August especially), the pool area gets pretty crowded, but honestly with that beach right there, it’s not really an issue. For what you’re paying, and considering that 9.7 rating reflects real guest experiences, it’s the kind of place that makes Batumi feel less like a quick stop and more like a proper destination.

Reviews of Panorama Batumi Beach Resort
JUST A VIEW AND NOT MORE – Dr from Slovenia – September 1, 2025 (7/10)
Modern sterile new apartment in huge condo building with view.Nice balcony.
Contra:
Unbearable noise up to 03.00
Neither grain of coffee nor bags of tee neither toilet paper nor bottle of water for welcome
Paid a larger and get smaller apartment.
overrated and too expensive for what it offers
The owner may be ashamed of such guest treatment
I do not recommend
What could be improved: more respect for the guestWith this price very good – Davit from Armenia – August 30, 2025 (10/10)
Apartment was soo cool
Worth to value, most importantly toilet, room is clean. – Javid from Azerbaijan – August 25, 2025 (8/10)
Owner is super friendly. He responded immediately and waited us in the room. He tried his best to make us happy which added to our overall experience. Room is tidy and organized. We had clothes drier, iron and majority of things we need. Enjoyed our Smart Tv. 11th floor is good at least we can walk down by stairs instead of waiting elevator. Recommend to stay when I read horrible reviews about different apartments in Orbi.
What could be improved: Some dishes were dirty and there is nothing to wash them (such as fairy) Pan was oily. So not good for cooking or eating unless you are using dishes.I am grateful. – Anonymous from Georgia – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
I really liked this place to stay.
Beautiful view from the apartment, balcony, sea view, soundproofing,
At this price it is a very good option for those who are looking for an apartment on the first line of the sea at a low price.
I stayed only 2 nights. I would have liked to stay longer.
The only thing I did not like was the overloaded elevators.
As I mentioned above, the price is low compared to other hotels and the demand is high due to the low price.Recomenation from me – Anonymous from Saudi Arabia – August 11, 2025 (10/10)
