I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Sea Breeze Studio, Orbi City, block A, I wasn’t expecting much. The whole “block A” thing made it sound sort of corporate, you know? But honestly, this little three-star spot on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something locals actually know about.

The thing about staying in Batumi is that everyone gravitates toward the main boulevard with all the glitzy hotels, but this place sits just far enough back that you get the real neighborhood feel without sacrificing convenience. I mean, you’re still close enough to hear the distant hum of the city – and trust me, you’ll catch whiffs of khachapuri from nearby bakeries in the mornings, which is honestly the best alarm clock Georgia has to offer. The studio setup works really well if you’re not planning to spend much time indoors anyway. It’s clean, functional, and the air conditioning actually works (something I’ve learned not to take for granted in this part of the world). What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night – Sherif Khimshiashvili Street doesn’t get the late-night foot traffic that some of the tourist strips do, so you can actually sleep with the windows open when the weather’s nice.

The staff here seems to genuinely care about getting things right, which you notice in small ways – they’ll actually give you decent recommendations for places to eat that aren’t just the obvious tourist traps, and they know the local marshrutka routes if you want to explore beyond walking distance. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy season (summer gets pretty packed), but there’s usually something within a block or two. What really sold me on this place was the value – you’re getting solid accommodation in a city that’s becoming more expensive every year, and the 8.3 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you just want a comfortable base for exploring the Black Sea coast.

  Nice room with a nice sea view.

  What could be improved: My only criticism would be the number of people trying to get into the lifts, with 50 floors, the lifts were slow.
  The reception seemed like a refugee camp with so many people waiting for rooms, etc.

  Хорошее месторасположение, чистый и уютный небольшой номер с балконом. Когда будет туристический сезон, то может быть долгое ожидание лифта

  Идеальная чистота, в апартаментах есть все необходимое и даже микроволновка, жила у другого хозяина в том же здании, апартаменты были отделаны также, но очень не хватало микроволновки. Здесь было все)
  
  What could be improved: Претензия не к самим апартаментам, а к организации подъема в здании. Лифты абсолютно не отрегулированы, в сезон с 11 до 14 можно простоять в ожидании лифта больше 30 минут. И ещё для входа в номер нужно было не раз перекодировать карты, что опять же в сезон занимает достаточно много времени, учитывая, что нужно стоять в общей очереди с заселяющимися.

  First of all, i liked that i could officially pay for my stay by card online and could get the key from the locker (as i priviously had a bad experience in Orbi and knew there are a lot of suspicious/scam people, I was pleasantly surprised with this stay). The owner texted me in WhatsApp prior my stay to find out when i would like to move in. The apartment was clean, there were mini shower gels and towels. Could watch YouTube on the TV. Oh and there was a radiator (which you usually don't have in Batumi's hotels), it was very usefull as there were some days of heavy rain.
  
  What could be improved: All the Orbi's apartments that are given for rent are the same. However, i wouldn't highlight anything bad about this particular apartment that i had.

  Удобное месторасположение. На первой линии. Уютные, чистые номера. Вежливая хозяйка все показала и рассказала. Смело можно ехать!
  
  What could be improved: При выставлении счета на букинге указана итоговая цена не полностью. Необходимо раскрывать подробную информацию, где вы увидите дополнительную «плату за уборку помещения при выезде» + около 1000 руб. Вроде бы мелочь, но все же приятно, когда нет таких подводных камней.
