Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi, I wasn’t expecting much from another chain hotel. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. Right there on Ninoshvili Street, you’re literally a two-minute stroll from the Black Sea promenade, and I mean you can practically taste the salt air from the lobby. The location is sort of perfect because you’re close enough to hear the waves at night (which I loved), but far enough back that you don’t get the carnival noise from the boulevard that keeps other hotels buzzing until 3 AM.

What really got me was how this five-star property manages to feel both polished and relaxed at the same time. The rooms – well, mine faced the sea and had these floor-to-ceiling windows that made me want to just sit there with coffee for hours watching the boats drift by. The bathroom was one of those marble affairs that makes you feel fancy, though honestly the water pressure was incredible, which matters more to me than all the fancy stone work. You know what’s weird? The air conditioning actually works properly here, and if you’ve spent any time in Batumi during summer, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning. I stayed in July and never once woke up sweating, which has definitely happened to me at other places in town.

The breakfast situation is actually worth getting up for – they do this mix of Georgian specialties and international stuff that doesn’t feel forced. I mean, where else are you going to get proper khachapuri alongside decent pancakes? And the coffee is real coffee, not that instant stuff some hotels try to pass off. The pool area on the upper level gives you these sweeping views over the city toward the mountains, though it gets pretty crowded around mid-afternoon when families show up. Staff-wise, they’re genuinely helpful – the front desk folks speak great English and actually know the city well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the touristy spots everyone hits. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which if you’re driving in Batumi, you’ll appreciate since finding a spot near the old town can be a nightmare. Honestly, for the money and the location, this place delivers on what it promises without any of that artificial luxury hotel stuffiness that makes you feel like you can’t relax.

  An exceptional hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Batumi! I had the immense privilege of being upgraded to an even better room, thanks to a lovely lady named Marl (or Mari, apologies if I got the name wrong) — the room was simply stunning. The welcome was outstanding: as a French guest, I felt truly appreciated and taken care of. The indoor and outdoor pools are excellent, and the gym is equally impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to all French visitors and travelers from around the world looking for an unforgettable stay in Batumi.

  I will tell you about before arrival, I booked a room for my son and his friend and even before arrival I contacted the accommodation many times and every time they responded positively and professionally. The impression of the hotel began before I arrived and I also felt comfortable sending my son alone and I felt that he was in the hands of a professional and reliable escort. Upon arrival, they received my son. He spoke about the kindness of the reception staff and the exceptional hotel, cleanliness, delicious food, a room with a view of the Alpha Tower, a pleasant pool, an excellent location. I would like to thank the hotel staff for a pleasant experience for my son as he was going out alone for the first time.
