I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Orbi City D2 – Luxury Hotel – Sea View, I wasn’t expecting much from the location on Pirosmani Street. I mean, it’s tucked away from the main tourist strip, but honestly? That turned out to be one of its biggest advantages. You get all the benefits of being in Batumi without the constant crowds and street noise that plague the beachfront hotels.

The five-star designation actually means something here, which isn’t always the case in Georgia’s hotel scene. The lobby has this modern, minimalist vibe that doesn’t try too hard – sleek marble floors that somehow don’t feel cold, and floor-to-ceiling windows that give you glimpses of the Black Sea between the surrounding buildings. What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the rooms. The sea view isn’t just marketing speak – from the higher floors, you actually get a proper vista over the water, especially beautiful during sunset when the light hits the coastline just right. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, not just piled high with decorative pillows that you have to move every night.

You know what sets this place apart though? The staff genuinely knows the city. When I asked about good Georgian restaurants off the tourist path, the front desk manager didn’t just hand me a generic list – he drew me a little map to this family-run place about ten minutes away where they make the best khachapuri I had in my entire trip. The hotel’s restaurant is solid, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you want to venture out, and having local insights makes all the difference. Parking is actually available on-site, which is a godsend if you’re driving – trust me, finding a spot in central Batumi during summer can be a nightmare. The 8.9 rating feels about right to me; it’s not perfect (the air conditioning can be a bit aggressive, and the elevators are slower than you’d expect), but the overall experience delivers on what a luxury hotel should provide. The location gives you easy walking access to the Boulevard and main attractions, but you’re far enough from the late-night casino crowds that you can actually sleep. If you’re planning to visit during the peak summer months, book well ahead – this isn’t one of those massive chain hotels with hundreds of rooms.

  Жилье находится в блоке Д2 , мне попался номер 1811 , все было великолепно
  В номере было чисто , вид из окна на море шикарный , очередей в лифт в этом блоке вообще нет, так как он ещё до конца не достроен , что упрощает отдых!

  Wlasciciel jak i kontakt z nim super, nie robił problemu o lekkie opoznienie w opuszczeniu apartamentu. Lokalizacja super, w samym centrum wszystkich swiecacych wiezowcow tuz obok morza. Widoki takie jak na zdjęciach. Stosunek jakosci do ceny super.
