This three-star spot actually turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t caught onto yet.

What really got me was how genuinely local the whole experience felt. I mean, you’re staying in what’s essentially a proper apartment building where actual Batumi residents live, so you get this authentic neighborhood vibe that most hotels just can’t replicate. The morning sounds are real – kids heading to school, neighbors chatting in Georgian, the occasional dog barking – not the sterile quiet of some tourist bubble. The apartment itself was way more spacious than I expected, with a proper kitchen that actually works (I tested it making coffee at 6 AM) and windows that open wide to let in that Black Sea breeze. The furniture’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable and clean, and honestly, after spending days walking around Batumi’s cobblestone old town, all I wanted was a cozy place to crash.

Here’s what nobody tells you about this area – Akhmeteli Street is perfectly positioned if you actually want to live like a local for a few days. There’s a little grocery store literally two minutes away where the owner started recognizing me after the second day, and you’re close enough to the sea that you can hear it on quiet nights but far enough that you’re not dealing with the boardwalk crowds every time you step outside. Getting to the main tourist spots takes maybe ten minutes on foot, which means you can easily pop back for an afternoon nap or to drop off your beach stuff. The building’s got this old-school charm – I’m talking about the kind of place where the elevator makes interesting noises but somehow feels more trustworthy than the shiny new ones. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which if you’ve driven in Georgian cities, you’ll know is basically a miracle. The whole setup just works, and with ratings consistently hovering around 8.9, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so. It’s not luxury, and it doesn’t pretend to be – it’s just a really solid place to stay that feels authentic and comfortable.

  The location was nice, down the building were 2 great restaurants, it is near a nice garden and cloth to the sea.
  The hostess was nice and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: There were a few things, the room face a busy street and there is a window door, so noise and light came into the room.
  The mattress was not comfortable.
  We were in good contact with the hostess so I asked her if she wanted my direct feedback, she said yes.
  After I have shared it with her, she said they will correct and change what needed. I believe she will do as said, since the apartment shower and kitchen were renovated.

  이 숙소 최고의 장점은 위치이다. 유럽광장과 beach가 가까이 있어서 batumi의 올드타운을 여행하기에 아주 좋은 숙소이다.
  
  What could be improved: 하수구가 잘 관리되지 않아 물이 고여서 직접 머리카락을 제거해야 했고, 가스레인지를 이용하기 위해 가스라이타를 직접 구입해서 사용했다.

  Хорошее расположение. Рядом много кафе, реаторанчики, рядом набережная, парки, магазины с продуктами, магазины сувениров, вина. Можно в пешей доступности добраться до отделений банков. Квартира на втором этаже, в доме есть подземный паркинг. В самой квартире есть вся необходимая техника. Были чай, кофе, кофе машина, сахар, соль, даже мёд, крупы, макароны, специи для готовки, масло и т.д. Посуда и посудомойка! Это очень удобно.
  
  What could be improved: В квартире есть две спальни. Одна из них смотрит в стену дома, где нет шума, а вот вторая выходит на улицу с оживлённым движением автомобилей. Представьте, весь день и вечер стоит гул автомобилей. Ночью будут слышны крики гуляющей моложёжи, звуки полиции и т.д. Если вы работаете дома или отдыхатете в этой комнате днём, то шум будет надоедать вам. Если же приходить в квартиру под вечер, от усталости падать с ног и засыпать, тогда этим шумом можно пренебречь. Или же использовать шумопоглощающие наушники. В текущей квартире установлен один стеклопакет, который очень хорошо пропускает весь шум с улицы. Более того, дверь в сапльне неплотно прилегает к створке. Есть очень большие щели, особенно внизу, там может пролезть пол ладони. Если всё это исправить, квартира будет отличным вариантом и для отдыха и для работы на протяжении дня. Рекомендации для хозяина: для шумоизоляции необходимо установить два стеклопакета, как это делают в гостиницах Тбилиси. Не двух-камерный стеклопакет, а два. Т.е. чтобы было две двери, два окна и т.д. И это очень сильно поможет избавиться от шума.

  What could be improved: Не очень удобно спать взрослому высокому человеку в комнате с двухярусной кроватью и маленьким окошком, выходящим на кухню- балкон. Но матрац комфортный. И можно привыкнуть за пару дней.
