You know what caught me off guard about Paradise Apartments Solis Residence? It’s tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, but once you’re inside, it feels worlds apart from the typical Batumi hustle. I mean, this is a five-star setup that actually delivers on that promise – and honestly, after staying at plenty of places that throw around star ratings like confetti, that’s refreshing.

The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious, which is rare in a city where developers usually squeeze every square meter for profit. I stayed in one of the higher floors and could actually see glimpses of the Black Sea between the buildings – not a full ocean view, mind you, but enough to remind you where you are. The kitchen setup is what really impressed me though. It’s not one of those tiny kitchenettes where you can barely boil water; they’ve got proper appliances and counter space. Perfect if you want to hit the local markets (there’s a great one about ten minutes’ walk toward the old town) and actually cook some of those amazing Georgian tomatoes and herbs.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re still close enough to everything that matters. Sherif Khimshiashvili isn’t one of the main tourist drags, so you don’t get the late-night party noise that can make other parts of Batumi… well, let’s just say challenging for light sleepers. But walk fifteen minutes in any direction and you’re at the Boulevard, the casino district, or some of the best khachapuri spots in the city. The building itself feels solid – good soundproofing, reliable elevators, and the kind of attention to detail that suggests someone actually thought about what it’s like to live here temporarily. Staff genuinely seems to care too, which isn’t always a given. They helped me figure out the local bus routes without that glazed-over look you sometimes get at hotel reception desks.
