You know what caught me off guard about PANORAMA Apartments BATUMI? The name actually delivers on its promise – and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed at plenty of places that throw around words like “panorama” without much to back it up, but when you’re perched up here on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, you really do get those sweeping views over Batumi that make you want to linger on the balcony way longer than you planned.

The apartments themselves feel properly luxurious – this is definitely five-star territory – but without that stuffy hotel vibe that can make you feel like you’re walking on eggshells. I mean, you’ve got full kitchens, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out every meal in Batumi can add up fast, especially during summer when the city’s packed with Georgian families on holiday. The location is pretty brilliant too, actually – you’re close enough to the action that you can walk down to the Boulevard and the beach without breaking a sweat, but far enough up the hill that you don’t get the late-night noise from the clubs and restaurants. Trust me, that matters more than you’d think, especially on weekends when things can get pretty lively down by the water.

What I really appreciated was how the building feels integrated into the neighborhood rather than plunked down like some generic tourist tower. The street has this nice residential feel – you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, kids playing in the courtyards – but you’re still just a few minutes from all the main attractions. The staff seemed to actually know the area well too, which isn’t always a given. They pointed me toward this little khachapuri place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that handles the basics really well (solid wifi, good water pressure, clean everything) while giving you enough space and amenities that you can actually settle in rather than just crash for the night. If you’re planning to spend more than a couple days exploring Batumi and the surrounding coast, having a proper base like this makes all the difference.

  Apartment was easy to find. Has a good location. Property owner contacted us prior to check in. Has a kitchen and balcony.
  
  What could be improved: Bathroom smells incredibly bad. You have to hold your breathe to not smell in. I shall not book again for further vacations. Also property owner forced us to pay cash. Paying by credit card was out of the table.

  Here is some dishes and kitchen things. But no liquid so i thought about buy liquid or not.
  And change towel part also thought. Here is washing machine, but just machine. No any liquid😅

  Not bad. We stayed 4 nights, they brought kind of lunchbox style breakfast. I expected normal breakfast but i got the too Georgian style meal (Khachapuri and potato bread)I think they have only 2 menu😅. It can add to some fresh ingredient, will be more good breakfast.

  O godzinie 9 dziewczyna podała pudełko z bułką, połowa chaczapuri, jako i masło.
  Do tego jeszcze sok .

  Lepiej wyzućic to śniadania z oferty,albo dać możliwość nie wybierać.

  조식은 좀 의외였다. 부페식 조식을 생각했는데 도시락이었다. 아침을 먹지 않던 저로서는 별 문제는 없었다.

  What could be improved: 1) The name if the hotel is confusing- it is alliance palace but given as panorama apartments by Marriott
  2) breakfast was extremely disappointing
  3) no bottle of water was provided as mentioned in amenities
  4) hand wash, shampoo, body wash were not provided
  5) There was draining problem in the showering area and water drained extremely slowly after taking a shower
  6) lift takes alot of time and the apartment is located on the 22nd floor so alot of time is wasted simply waiting for the lift
  7) The bathroom door wasn't closing well
  8) We need to pay extra for room service and to use pool. There's no pool in this part of the building, you have to go to a different area to use the pool
  9) the spoons were used and not washed
