You know what caught me off guard about ORBI SEA TOWERS? It’s actually one of those modern high-rises that manages to feel welcoming rather than intimidating. I mean, Batumi has been going through this whole construction boom lately, and honestly, some of these new towers can feel pretty soulless – but this one’s different. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this sense that they’ve put real thought into making guests comfortable, not just impressed.

The location on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is pretty smart, actually. You’re close enough to the boulevard and the beach that you can easily walk there (maybe 7-8 minutes to the water), but far enough back that you don’t get the constant noise from the main tourist strip. I stayed on one of the higher floors – and let me tell you, the sea views are genuinely spectacular, especially at sunset when the whole coastline lights up. The rooms themselves have that clean, contemporary feel without being cold, and the bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a four-star place. What I really appreciated were the little touches – decent coffee setup, blackout curtains that actually work, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine.

The thing about this Batumi location is that you’re positioned perfectly for exploring both the old and new parts of the city. Walk one direction and you’ll hit the historic center with all those beautiful European-influenced buildings, walk the other way and you’re in the heart of the modern casino and entertainment district. The staff here genuinely seem to know the area well – they pointed me toward this fantastic little Georgian restaurant about three blocks away that I never would have found on my own. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak summer months (July and August get pretty crazy), but they do have arrangements that work out fine if you ask at the front desk. Honestly, with that 8.7 rating, I wasn’t surprised to find the service was consistently solid – not overly formal, just helpful and professional. The breakfast spread is decent too, though if you’re looking for traditional Georgian morning foods, you might want to venture out and try some of the local spots nearby.

Early hotels booking in Batumi requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary beaches, modern casinos, and Georgian cultural attractions.

  this apartment was located near the beach and the location was perfect, the owner was very helpful and friendly. there was a fridge, kettle, and cooker that allowed us to cook and have a great meal. the price was reasonable. the view of our room was sea.
