So I’ll be honest – when I first saw Orbi Horizon Luxe Suite tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a fairly standard three-star setup. But you know what? Sometimes Batumi surprises you in the best possible ways, and this little gem absolutely delivered way beyond its rating.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know the city at all. You’re basically a stone’s throw from the Boulevard (that’s the main seaside promenade everyone raves about), but far enough back that you don’t get the constant stream of tourists and street performers until 2 AM. I mean, don’t get me wrong – the energy down by the water is fantastic, but when you want to actually sleep, you’ll appreciate being on this quieter side street. The walk to the beach takes maybe seven minutes, and you pass some genuinely good local spots along the way – there’s this little bakery that does incredible khachapuri that I stumbled across purely by accident.

What really got me about this place was the attention to detail that you just don’t expect. The suites themselves are spacious – like, properly spacious, not that “European spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase. The kitchen setup actually works if you want to grab stuff from the market and cook (the Goodwill supermarket is right around the corner), and honestly, the views from the upper floors are pretty spectacular. You get this nice mix of the city sprawling toward the mountains and glimpses of the Black Sea between buildings. The staff – well, they genuinely seem to care about making your stay work, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. Check-in was smooth, they helped sort out a taxi situation when I needed it, and the housekeeping was consistently solid without being intrusive.

I’ll admit the building itself isn’t going to win any architecture awards – it’s got that modern Georgian apartment block vibe – but inside they’ve done something really nice with the spaces. Good lighting, comfortable beds (seriously, I slept better here than at some much pricier places), and the bathrooms are properly modern with decent water pressure. The whole place just feels well-maintained and thoughtfully put together. You’re also perfectly positioned to explore the old town area – it’s an easy walk to the main square and all those colorful buildings everyone photographs, plus you’re close enough to the cable car station if you want to head up to the plateau for those panoramic views. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but they’ll help you figure it out, and honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in since everything’s pretty walkable from here.

  Не первый раз в Батуми и сильно удивлен качеством сервиса. Апартаменты уютные и хорошо укомплектованы, отличаются от стандартах, есть и стиральная и большой холодильник, даже Вытяжка! Менеджер отвечает буквально в течении нескольких минут. Этот блок в орби совсем новый, здесь нет очередей на Ресепшн и лифт. Очень рекомендую именно этих ребят! Мы обязательно вернемся еще, спасибо!
