Sometimes the best finds in Batumi are hiding in plain sight, and this three-star place turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special.

The location is actually brilliant once you get your bearings. Lermontova Street is tucked away from the main tourist chaos near the boulevard, which means you can actually get some sleep at night – something I learned to appreciate after staying in noisier parts of the city before. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk to the beach and the main strip, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The building itself has that Soviet-era apartment block vibe that’s pretty typical for this part of Georgia, but don’t let that fool you – inside, it’s been thoughtfully converted and honestly feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed flat than a hotel.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to make each unit feel genuinely homey without losing that clean, professional edge you want when you’re paying for accommodation. The kitchen was fully equipped (I mean actually equipped – proper knives, decent cookware, not just the bare minimum), which came in handy since there’s a great little market just two blocks down where locals shop. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, and the heating worked perfectly – crucial if you’re visiting during Batumi’s surprisingly chilly shoulder seasons. I was there in late October, and while the days were still warm enough for the beach, those autumn evenings definitely required some warmth. The owner was incredibly responsive too; when I had a minor issue with the shower pressure, it was sorted within a couple hours. That kind of attention to detail probably explains that 9.8 rating – it’s rare to see scores that high, but after spending a week there, I get it. The place just works, and it works well, without any of the pretense or inflated prices you’ll find closer to the tourist center.

  Приветливые хозяева, все вопросы решали. Квартира комфортная, кондиционер отлично охлаждает, матрас и подушки удобные, шкафы есть. Расположение хорошее, магазины рядом, до моря 1,5 км примерно. Благодарю за теплый прием!

  Квартира комфортная, с балконом, три спальных места. Вместительная кухня. В квартире имеется вся необходимая бытовая техника: стиральная машина, холодильник, телевизор ( есть русские каналы), кондиционер. Нас встретили хозяева квартиры прямо в аэропорту, что оказалось приятным бонусом.

  What could be improved: 1) Есть нюанс с газовой колонкой, нужно приучиться пользоваться – не всегда с первой минуты получалось настроить воду в ванной )))
  2) Всё достойно чисто. Не профессиональный клининг конечно – но тогда бы и квартира дороже стоило в разы
