Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Your studio on the beach!, I was a bit skeptical. It sounds almost too good to be true, right? But after spending time in this three-star spot on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I get why they went with the exclamation point. The thing is, you’re literally steps from the Black Sea coastline, and from the 13th floor, the views are actually pretty spectacular. I mean, Batumi has this interesting mix of old Soviet architecture and flashy new developments, and you can see it all spread out below you while hearing the waves crash.

What really surprised me was how quiet it stays up there despite being right in the city. You know what I love about this location? You’re walking distance from the Boulevard – that’s what locals call the beachfront promenade – but you’re not stuck in the chaos of the main tourist strip. Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is one of those residential areas where you’ll see Georgian families hanging out on balconies in the evenings, and there’s this great little bakery about two blocks down where they make khachapuri that’ll ruin you for anywhere else. The studio itself is pretty straightforward – it’s got everything you need without trying to be fancy, which honestly I appreciate more than those over-the-top places that charge you extra for using the coffee machine.

Here’s something nobody mentions in the typical hotel reviews: the elevator can be a bit temperamental (I waited about five minutes once), but the building manager is super helpful and actually speaks decent English, which isn’t always a given in this part of town. The beach access is the real selling point though – you can literally walk out the front door, cross one small street, and you’re on the sand. During summer evenings, the whole area comes alive with street musicians and vendors selling churchkhela (those candle-shaped walnut sweets), and you can just pop back up to your room whenever you need a break from the crowds. I stayed during shoulder season in late September, and honestly, that might be the sweet spot – warm enough for swimming but without the July madness when half of Tbilisi seems to relocate here for vacation.

  Очень понравилось расположение дома, через дорогу пляж. Из окна можно наблюдать море. Хозяева были очень приветливы и всегда на связи, по ватсапп отвечали быстро.

  Le logement est incroyable. Il y a tous les équipements nécessaires, le lit est confortable, la vue sur la mer est très belle.
  
  L'hôte est très gentille et prévenante.
  Nous avons eu un problème d'eau chaude pendant le séjour mais elle a fait tout ce qu'elle a pu pour nous aider et le problème a été résolu.

  Everything in the place and the person are amazing:
  A) About the place:
  1. Very clean.
  2. All the facilities you need, for example, air conditioning, a washing machine for clothes, all cooking equipment, refrigerator, microwave, boiler… etc.
  3. The bed is very comfortable.
  4. The balcony is very nice, and you can see the beach and the sea with a nice hanging chair.
  B) About the person:
  1. Helping us with carrying the luggage.
  2. Nice hospitality after the time of check-out. We could leave our luggage at her mother's house when we had a late train. Her mother was very nice by offering us drinks.
  3. We could get a ride to the center.
  Shortly it's an amazing place and person.
