You know what caught me off guard about ORBI Coastal Charm? It’s tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street in this quiet residential pocket of Batumi that most tourists completely miss. I mean, you’re literally a ten-minute walk from all the casino madness and the seafront promenade, but the neighborhood itself feels refreshingly normal – locals walking their dogs, kids playing in courtyards, that sort of authentic Georgian life you don’t always get to see when you’re staying right in the thick of things.

The hotel itself is honestly what I’d call unpretentious in the best way possible. This three-star place doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I actually appreciate after staying at too many places that promise the moon and deliver cardboard croissants. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the air conditioning works (crucial in Batumi summers), and I loved that you could crack the windows at night to hear the city settling down rather than the constant hum of the main tourist strip. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, which goes a long way when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules to Tbilisi or need recommendations for where locals actually eat khachapuri. Speaking of location, here’s something I wish I’d known beforehand – while you’re not directly on the beach, you’re actually positioned perfectly to explore both the old town charm and the newer developments without being trapped in either. There’s this little market about three blocks away where I ended up buying the best churchkhela I had in Georgia, and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have discovered it if I’d been staying in one of those beachfront towers where everything feels a bit sanitized.

The whole experience feels like staying somewhere real people might actually choose for themselves, if that makes sense. Is it going to blow your mind with luxury amenities? No, and that’s not really the point. But will you get a solid night’s sleep, helpful service, and a genuine taste of what Batumi feels like when you step away from the tourist bubble? Absolutely. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the value is hard to argue with – you’re getting authentic Batumi without paying resort prices for the privilege.

  Nice apartman, good location.
  
  What could be improved: There are no enough elevqtors in the building. For them we had to wait more.than 15-20 minutes in every case!!!! Small and few elevators, badly organised.

  Close to the beach, close to the Sea Mall, there is a coffee ☕️ shop at the premises. Nice promenade, nice for walking and running. There is a park starting some 800 m from the promenade, towards the north, extending to the Japanese Garden, which is just a minute walk away from the 6th May Park with a lake (you can rent water bikes), a small Zoo, and a Dolphinarium.
  
  The rooms are neat, with AC, spacious, and there is a cooking facility, with dishes.
  
  What could be improved: Overloaded lifts, in the middle of the day (rush hour), it takes more or less 30-40 minutes to get a place in the lift. And every room gets just one roll of toilet paper, so you need to get some more by yourself if you stay longer than one day.

  Leiligheten var romslig og ren med gode senger og aircondition og tv på alle rom. Den har også en stor balkong. Veldig sentralt og rett ved stranda med spisesteder og matbutikker i nærheten. Wifi funket utmerket.
  
  What could be improved: Selve bygningen Orbi var lite sjarmerende med masse turister og trange innganger, kø og lang ventetid for å bruke heis og i resepsjonen.
