Hotel 19 Batumi Overview
So I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Hotel 19 Batumi, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place literally named after its floor number. But you know what? Sometimes the straightforward approach works best. This four-star spot sits on the 19th floor of a building on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, and honestly, that height advantage is everything in Batumi. The views from up there are pretty spectacular – you get this sweeping look at the Black Sea that changes completely depending on the weather, and trust me, Batumi weather can be moody in the best way.
What actually surprised me was how the location works out. Sherif Khimshiashvili isn’t one of those main tourist drags where you’re constantly dodging tour groups, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Boulevard without breaking a sweat. I mean, you’re about a 10-minute stroll from all that waterfront action, but when you want to escape back to somewhere quieter, you can. The elevator ride up to the 19th floor becomes this little decompression moment – by the time you reach your room, the street noise just sort of… disappears. The staff seemed to really know their stuff too, which isn’t always a given in smaller Georgian hotels. They had solid recommendations for places that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots, and their English was surprisingly good.
Here’s the thing about staying this high up in Batumi – you really feel like you’re above it all, literally and figuratively. The rooms themselves are modern without being sterile (thank god, because I’ve stayed in too many places that felt like medical facilities), and the windows are these floor-to-ceiling things that make you want to just sit there with your morning coffee. The bathroom situation was actually pretty impressive – good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled through this region knows can be hit or miss. I stayed there during shoulder season in late spring, so I can’t speak to how crazy it gets during peak summer months, but the building felt solid and well-managed. One small thing – the building entrance is a bit understated, so don’t expect some grand hotel lobby experience. You’re basically going up to what feels like a residential building, then boom, you’re in this sleek hotel space. It’s kind of cool actually, like you’re staying in some local’s incredibly nice apartment with hotel service. For the price point and that rating they’ve got going, it makes sense why people keep coming back here.

What could be improved: Nothing to be mentionedNice place with a beautiful sea view! – Levon from Ireland – August 10, 2025 (9/10)
-Very helpful staff and always smiling receptionist. She always tried to accommodate all our needs.
-Near a shopping mall, the beach, bars and restaurants and not too far from the centre (approx. 45 min walk).
-Great breakfast and a big variety to choose from.
-Very comfortable shower and bathroom in general.
-Cleanliness.
What could be improved: -The area is very busy and can be noisy sometimes. You can hear the music from the neighbouring bars/discos. We got used to it and they usually switched the music off around 1-2 am but there was a celebration one day and the music was blasting up until 6:00am.Exceptional – Satymbekova from Kazakhstan – July 28, 2025 (10/10)

Неблагі від з балкону. Выгодны ложак. Добрая шумаізаляцыя, сусудзяў не чуваць, але з субботы на нядзелю былі чутны гукі клуба праз вокны. Неблагія сняданні.
What could be improved: На кухні не было ні солі, ні перцу, нават пра нож давялося запытвацца. Будынкі навокал вельмі старыя і выглядаюць так сабе.Definitely revisit this place again – Marina from Georgia – May 30, 2025 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel 19 Batumi. The location was perfect—major attractions were just across the street, and the old city was only a 10–15 minute drive away.
The room was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained, with a stunning view that made every morning feel special. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile.
Breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to start the day right.
Overall, a truly pleasant experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
