The rooms themselves are modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Clean lines, decent-sized bathrooms (always a concern in older Georgian buildings), and thank god, reliable Wi-Fi that actually works. I spent quite a few evenings on the small balcony, watching the city lights twinkle below while the sound of waves drifted up from the coast. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which I appreciated during those humid summer nights when Batumi can get pretty sticky.

Here’s the thing about the location – it’s not right in the thick of the old town chaos, but you’re maybe a ten-minute walk to all the action along Batumi Boulevard. I actually preferred being slightly removed from the constant buzz of street vendors and tour groups, especially since you can still hear the sea from your room. The neighborhood has this nice mix of local cafes and small shops where you’ll hear more Georgian than English, which felt authentic. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, something I worried about given how narrow some of these streets get. The hotel breakfast isn’t going to win any awards, but it’s solid – fresh bread, local cheeses, and they make a decent khachapuri if you ask nicely. One small gripe: the elevators can be slow during peak hours, but honestly, after a day of exploring Batumi’s botanical gardens or the old fortress, I didn’t mind the extra minute or two. For what you pay, especially compared to the waterfront hotels that charge double, ORBi CITY TOWERS delivers exactly what you’d want from a well-run property – comfort, cleanliness, and that rare feeling that the staff actually cares whether you enjoy your stay.

  We stay for 4 days in November 2023. Everything was perfect. Manager was very nice and even we had made last minute reservation we get great apartment on 45 floor and we were able to check in earlier. View from apartment is amazing, you can see Black Sea, lake, mountains and city. It is close to promenda, shops and not so far to city center.
