Orbi City Tower Overview
So I stumbled across Orbi City Tower during my last trip to Batumi, and honestly, it turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises you don’t expect from a three-star place. The building itself is pretty modern – you know, all glass and clean lines – sitting right on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, which is actually perfect if you want to be close to the action without being right in the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Boulevard, but you don’t get the constant noise of street performers and late-night revelers that some of the beachfront hotels deal with.
What really struck me about this place was how they’ve managed to pack some serious punch into what’s technically a mid-range hotel. The rooms are surprisingly spacious – I had this corner unit that gave me views of both the city and glimpses of the Black Sea, which was honestly better than some four-star places I’ve stayed at along the coast. The lobby has this sleek, almost business-hotel vibe, but the staff keeps it warm and personal. Actually, the front desk guy spoke perfect English and gave me some insider tips about which marshrutkas to take to get to the cable car without dealing with tourist prices. Small thing, but it matters when you’re trying to navigate a new city.
Here’s what I really appreciated – the location puts you right in that sweet spot where you can walk to Old Boulevard in one direction and hit up the newer development areas in the other. There’s this great little Georgian restaurant just two blocks down that serves the best khachapuri I had during my entire stay, and I doubt most tourists even know it exists. The hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant, which some people might see as a downside, but honestly? With Batumi’s food scene, you want to be out exploring anyway. Plus, they’ve got a decent breakfast setup that’ll get you going in the morning. The rooms stay pretty quiet even though you’re in the city – good windows, I guess – and the Wi-Fi actually works, which isn’t always a given in this part of the world. If I’m being completely honest, the only thing that felt a bit dated was the bathroom fixtures, but everything worked fine and was spotlessly clean. For the price point and that 8.4 rating it’s earned, Orbi City Tower delivers exactly what you’d hope for without any pretensions.

What could be improved: I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Two days before my actual checkout date (20th), staff entered the room and told me I had to leave, even though my booking was valid until the 20th. The washing machine was broken for almost the entire stay and was only repaired on our last day. There are only two elevators for the whole block, which results in very long waiting times.
Batumi itself is a beautiful city that I truly enjoyed, but unfortunately this hotel experience was very frustrating and ruined part of the trip. I would not recommend Orbi C Block to anyone visiting Batumi.ممتاز بنظافته ومشكلته الاسنسير – حزام from Saudi Arabia – August 4, 2025 (7/10)

I had an amazing stay at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in seamless and stress-free. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay – from a fully stocked kitchen to fast Wi-Fi and cozy bedding.
The location was perfect – close to public transport, shops, and local attractions, yet quiet and peaceful at night. I especially loved the little touches like complimentary coffee, fresh towels, and local tips from the host. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and well-located apartment. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
