The kitchenette situation is pretty solid too, which I appreciated since Georgian wine and local cheese from the nearby markets taste infinitely better when you can enjoy them at your own pace rather than rushing through hotel breakfast hours.

What really won me over was the location’s personality. You’re close enough to hear the city’s rhythm – street vendors calling out in the morning, the distant hum of traffic from the main boulevards – but far enough from the coastal party zone that you can actually sleep without earplugs. The neighborhood has this authentic Georgian energy that the beachfront hotels just can’t match. There’s a little bakery maybe two blocks away where the khachapuri smells absolutely incredible around 7 AM, and honestly, that became my daily alarm clock. The staff here gets it too – they’re not just going through hospitality motions, they actually know the area and will point you toward spots that aren’t in every guidebook. I remember asking about transportation, and instead of just saying “taxi,” they explained which marshrutkas to catch and where the stops actually are – the kind of local intel that makes traveling feel less like work.   The apartment’s location is excellent, close to the Luna Park and the sea. Walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: There are many apartments in the Orbi Towers and in other nearby towers, but the real difference lies in the property management. My communication with the host was only via WhatsApp.
  A few issues that need immediate improvement:
  1. Cleanliness – One of the bed sheets had a stain, and the cupboards contained dirty dishes. I had to rewash everything upon arrival. When I opened the microwave, there was a strong smell of burnt food and it was filthy.
  2. Supplies – We were a family of five, yet there was only one and a half rolls of toilet paper. When I asked for more, the host replied that tenants must purchase it themselves. For a short two-night stay, this is unreasonable. Thankfully, the building superintendent was kind enough to provide some, but this should have been the host’s responsibility.
  3. Sofa bed – The living room sofa bed was broken. The extension kept collapsing, making it unusable as a proper sleeping arrangement.
  4. TV and streaming – The listing mentioned streaming options on the TV, but this was inaccurate. Only Georgian satellite channels were available. Additionally, there were batteries in only one remote control, which had to be shared between all TVs.
  4. Basic necessities missing – The apartment lacked essential items such as a dish sponge, a counter cloth, and a kitchen towel. I ended up purchasing these myself. Only afterwards did the superintendent kindly provide some, but this should have been prepared in advance.
  Overall, the apartment’s location is convenient, but the lack of cleanliness and basic supplies, made the stay disappointing. With better management and attention to detail, this could be a much more pleasant experience.

  ფასთან შესაბამისი ნომერი. მაღალი სართული იყო და ხმაური ნაკლებად შემოდიოდა. ასევე, ორბის ახალი კორპუსია, D2 ბლოკი და ბევრი ხალხი არაა, ლიფტთან დიდხანს ლოდინი და ჭედვაში ასვლა-ჩამოსვლა არ მოგიწევთ.
  
  What could be improved: საღამოს 6 საათზე ჩავედით ბათუმში და ნომერში კიდევ ვერ შევედით, ისევ ალაგებდნენ. არადა, წინასწარ გავაფრთხილე შუადღის 2-3 საათამდე შუალედში ჩამოვალთ-თქო, ისედაც მაგ დროს არის ჩექინი ოფიციალურად. მალე კი დაასრულეს დალაგება, მაგრამ ძალიან არაკომფორტული იყო ეგ გამოცდილება, იატაკი ჯერ კიდევ სველი იყო რომ შევედით. თან, პრეტენზია რომ გამოვთქვი, ცოტა აბსუედული პასუხი მივიღე, ლიფტთან რიგებია და დამლაგებელმა ვერ მოასწრო ასვლაო, სამ საათიან პერიოდზეა საუბარი 😁 სულ ახალი კორპუსია, D2 ბლოკი და პირიქით, საერთოდ არ იყო რიგი ლიფტთან. სტაფი საუბრობს მხოლოდ რუსულად ან ინგლისურად, ქართული არ იციან და ეს ფაქტიც არ მესიამოვნა.
