So I’ll be honest – when I first heard about ORBI CITY Panorama Aparthotel, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds pretty corporate, you know? But this five-star place on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into this modern development that feels like it belongs more in Dubai than Georgia, but somehow it works perfectly in Batumi.

The thing that got me right away was walking into the lobby – there’s this massive floor-to-ceiling window situation that frames the Black Sea like a living postcard. I mean, you’re paying for those panoramic views (hence the name, obviously), and they actually deliver. The apartments themselves are spacious in that European way where you can actually unpack your entire suitcase without playing furniture Tetris. The kitchenettes are legit functional too – not just some mini-fridge and hot plate combo that most places try to pass off. I actually cooked breakfast a couple mornings because the local market on Chavchavadze Avenue has these incredible tomatoes and cheese that you can’t get back home.

What really won me over though was how the staff handled the little things. Check-in was smooth even though my Georgian is basically nonexistent, and they had this great local knowledge about which beaches are less crowded (hint: walk ten minutes north of the main strip). The building itself sits in this interesting spot where you’re close enough to hear the energy from the Boulevard area but far enough that you’re not dealing with the late-night party noise that can plague some of the beachfront hotels. Parking was actually straightforward too, which honestly shocked me given how chaotic Batumi traffic can be. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the WiFi got a bit spotty during peak hours – probably everyone streaming at once – but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The whole experience felt like staying in a really nice friend’s apartment rather than some sterile hotel room, and for a place with a 7.1 rating, it definitely punches above its weight. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between luxury and actually feeling like you’re experiencing the real Batumi, this place nails it.

  I booked a room with breakfast. Unfortunately, the meal was only delivered on the first day after 10:30 AM, cold and not very tasty. After another three days, the host forgot about his commitment. I sent WhatsApp messages to the phone number provided in the reservation every day, but received no response. I even informed the receptionist, but my request was completely ignored. The room itself (apart from the shower) was quite good, but the service was disappointing.
  
  What could be improved: If someone declares that their stay includes breakfast, it should be as described. Furthermore, if a tenant reports a fault, it should be fixed as soon as possible. Throughout my stay, I reported that the shower hose was damaged, but no one did anything about it despite constant reminders.

  The size of the apartment is great, great view and the location is excellent.
