The ORBI City development itself is this towering, futuristic-looking complex that dominates the skyline, and the N8 sits right in the heart of it all – which actually works in your favor more than you’d think.

What struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create this incredibly polished, almost boutique-hotel feel within what could have easily been just another corporate high-rise situation. The lobby has this sleek, contemporary design that doesn’t feel cold or sterile, and honestly, the staff here seems genuinely excited to help rather than just going through the motions. My room was on one of the higher floors, and the views over the Black Sea were absolutely spectacular – especially at sunset when the whole coastline lights up. The soundproofing is excellent too, which matters because Batumi can get pretty lively, particularly during summer when the city fills up with tourists from all over the region. You know what really impressed me though? The attention to detail in the rooms themselves – everything from the bathroom fixtures to the bedding felt carefully chosen, not just standard hotel-issue stuff.

The location within ORBI City is actually genius once you figure it out. Sure, you’re not right on the main tourist strip, but that means you get this perfect balance of being close enough to walk to the beach and Boulevard (maybe 10-15 minutes on foot) while avoiding the chaos and inflated prices of the immediate waterfront area. There’s a whole ecosystem within the complex – shops, restaurants, even a casino if that’s your thing – so you can grab coffee or a quick meal without venturing out if you don’t want to. I mean, the building itself is like a small city, which some people might find overwhelming, but I found it kind of fascinating. Parking is handled really well too, which anyone who’s driven around central Batumi will appreciate. The hotel restaurant serves both Georgian classics and international dishes, and while I’m usually skeptical of hotel dining, their khachapuri was legitimately some of the best I had during my entire Georgia trip. With a perfect 10 rating from guests, it’s clear I’m not the only one who was pleasantly surprised by this place – it’s definitely earned its reputation as one of Batumi’s standout accommodations.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.
