My Sunshine Apartments in Batumi Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name My Sunshine Apartments in Batumi, I was expecting something pretty basic. You know how these apartment-style places can be hit or miss. But walking up to this five-star property on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I realized I’d completely misjudged the situation. The building has this modern glass facade that catches the light beautifully, and you’re literally a two-minute walk from the beach promenade where all the action happens in Batumi. What struck me immediately was how quiet this little street is despite being so close to everything – during the day you hear the distant sound of waves, but at night it’s peaceful enough that you’ll actually sleep well.

The apartments themselves are genuinely impressive, and I mean that. Each one feels like someone’s stylish city flat rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchens are fully equipped (I’m talking real appliances, not those tiny hotel mini-fridges), which is perfect because honestly, Georgian restaurant portions are huge and you’ll want somewhere to store leftovers. The living spaces are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with natural light – hence the “sunshine” name, I suppose. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: good water pressure in the showers, blackout curtains that actually work, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful too, especially when I needed directions to the cable car station up to the Alphabetic Tower.

Here’s what makes this place special though – the location gives you the best of both worlds. You’re close enough to Boulevard Batumi that you can easily walk to all the casinos, restaurants, and that famous dancing fountains show (which, by the way, happens every evening and is actually worth seeing). But you’re just far enough off the main drag that you don’t get the constant noise and crowds. I stayed here during August, which is peak season, and while the boulevard was packed with tourists, this street remained surprisingly calm. The building has its own parking garage too, which is a godsend if you’re driving – finding parking near the waterfront in summer is basically impossible. One small thing that impressed me was how they handle check-in: it’s smooth and quick, no standing around waiting while they hunt for your reservation. With an 8.9 rating, you know other people have figured out what I did – this is one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises, without the usual disappointments you get with vacation rentals.

Reviews of My Sunshine Apartments in Batumi

  • Exceptional – Viktoriya from Russia – July 6, 2025 (10/10)

New clean apartment. Few people and quiet

  • Exceptional – Evez from Azerbaijan – June 17, 2025 (10/10)

It had a wonderful balcony view. It was very close to the sea, just a 5-minute walk away.
The room has everything you need. Bigger and more comfortable than I thought.

  • Wonderful – Iorokerby from Israel – May 20, 2025 (9/10)

The apartment is in a fairly new building, which looks nice and is easy to find after walking around Batumi 🙂 We lived on the 16th floor, our friends — on the 28th. The view of the sea and the neighboring beautiful (especially at night) high-rise buildings is amazing. The room has everything you need, including a corkscrew (you know what I mean :). The price-quality ratio is 100%.

What could be improved: The elevator card access system is a bit complicated: it is impossible to go down from the 28th to the 16th floor with only a card from the 28th (if you are traveling without friends, you will not notice this drawback).

  • Exceptional – Boris from United Kingdom – May 10, 2025 (10/10)

This apartment exceeded every expectation. Immaculately designed and thoughtfully equipped, it offers everything one could need—whether you're staying for a few nights or a few weeks. The location is simply unbeatable: nestled in a vibrant, walkable area yet surprisingly peaceful, it makes exploring the city effortless and enjoyable.

The host is genuinely warm and always ready with helpful advice or thoughtful touches.

This will absolutely be my go-to whenever I return—and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for more than just a place to sleep.
