I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Marina Batumi Sea View, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. But stepping into that lobby, you immediately get why this place has such a stellar reputation. The whole setup just feels right, you know? It’s got that polished five-star vibe without being stuffy about it.

What really got me was the view situation – and I mean, they’re not kidding about the “sea view” part. Most of the rooms face directly out over the Black Sea, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one of the higher floors, you can actually see all the way down the coastline toward the old town. I stayed there in late September, which honestly might be the perfect time – the summer crowds had thinned out, but the weather was still warm enough to keep the windows open and listen to the waves. The rooms themselves are spacious (way more than what you’d expect from most European beach hotels), and they’ve clearly invested in good blackout curtains because I slept like a rock every night.

Here’s something most reviews don’t mention – the location is actually pretty strategic. You’re right on Ninoshvili Street, which puts you maybe a ten-minute walk from the main boulevard where all the evening action happens, but far enough away that you don’t get the late-night party noise that plagues some of the downtown hotels. The hotel runs a shuttle to the old Batumi area, which is clutch because parking down there can be a nightmare during peak season. The staff – and this might sound like typical hotel review stuff, but I mean it – actually seem to know what they’re talking about. The concierge gave me directions to this little khachapuri place that wasn’t in any guidebook, and it ended up being one of my best meals there. They also sorted out a day trip to the botanical gardens without trying to upsell me on some overpriced tour package.

The breakfast spread is legitimately impressive, especially if you’re into trying Georgian specialties alongside the usual international options. I actually found myself going down earlier each day just to avoid the rush – around 8 AM it gets pretty packed with families and tour groups. One small thing that bugged me was the elevator situation; there are only two for the whole building, so you’ll sometimes wait a few minutes during busy times. But honestly, that’s pretty minor when you’re dealing with a hotel that clearly takes care of the big stuff. The pool area stays open late, the wifi actually works throughout the building, and housekeeping doesn’t barge in at 7 AM. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make a place worth coming back to.

  Отличные апартаменты с боковым видом на море. Есть все необходимое и даже стиральная машинка. В доме кафешка с вкусной выпечкой и кофе, супермаркет.

  What could be improved: По-моему было бы удобнее поставить жидкое мыло, маленький кусочек мыла совсем размок за сутки. Не хватило ложки для обуви. В конце апреля холодновато и было бы здорово, чтобы у каждого было свое одеяло ( есть покрывала).

  ключи легко получить при заселении, мне очень нравится сам жилой комплекс, есть и кофейни, булочные и рестораны, пляж, новый парк. Сама квартира очень приятная , хороший ремонт, вид на море, горячая вода ( нужно включить котел для нагрева воды) и кухня со всем необходимым для приготовления еды, стиральная машина есть, можно спокойно приезжать на долгий срок.

  We stayed for a day in Marina's apartment and were very pleased. Contactless check-in, instructions received on time, everything is clear – ideal. The hostess is always in touch, very friendly, pleasant to communicate with. Cozy, comfortable, warm, clean. Everything you need is there. The sleeping places are comfortable. We left the car at the house in a free parking lot and immediately found where to park, even though we arrived late in the evening. In the morning there is a contactless departure, which is again very convenient. The convenient location of the apartments is 10 meters from the sea and we fell asleep to the sound of the sea. Thank you very much Marina, next time we’ll come for a month, the prices are reasonable 👍
