I’ll be honest – when I first walked into MiraMar Luxury Residences on Rustaveli Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. The building itself is pretty understated, which is actually refreshing in Batumi where so many places try way too hard with flashy facades. But once you step inside, you immediately get why this five-star property has such a solid reputation.

The thing that struck me right away was how quiet it is, even though you’re literally in the heart of everything. I mean, Rustaveli is one of the main drags – you’ve got the botanical garden entrance just a few blocks up, and you can walk to the beach in maybe ten minutes – but somehow the sound just doesn’t carry into the rooms. The residences (and they really do feel more like apartments than hotel rooms) are spacious in a way that’s rare for Batumi. I stayed in one of their two-bedroom units, and honestly, the kitchen was better equipped than my place back home. Full-size fridge, proper dishwasher, even a wine cooler that actually worked. The living areas have these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with light, and if you’re lucky enough to get one of the upper floors, the sea views are pretty spectacular.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail – and I don’t mean the obvious stuff. Yeah, the marble bathrooms are gorgeous and the Egyptian cotton sheets are lovely, but it’s the little things that show someone’s actually thinking about how people live. Like, there are USB outlets built into the nightstands, the shower pressure is consistently excellent (trust me, this matters in Georgia), and they stock the kitchen with local wine and khachapuri from this bakery down the street that locals actually go to. The staff seems to genuinely care about helping you figure out the city – not just pointing you toward tourist traps, but actual recommendations. When I mentioned I was interested in Georgian wine, the front desk guy spent twenty minutes drawing me a map to these little wine bars in the old town that I never would have found otherwise. The building has a small but well-designed fitness center and a rooftop terrace that’s perfect for evening drinks, though it can get a bit crowded during summer season. Parking is handled through a nearby garage, which is actually pretty convenient since street parking in this area is basically impossible. If I had one minor complaint, it’s that the elevators can be slow during busy periods, but honestly, that’s nitpicking. For the price point and location, MiraMar really delivers on being a proper home base for exploring Batumi without feeling like you’re staying in a generic hotel.

  Great location (Bolt uses same address as the Hilton next door). Good shower. I had the corner unit which was huge with amazing views. Super convenient- on the promenade with access to all tourist locations on walking distance
