Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to the Boulevard in about five minutes, and the Old Town is practically at your doorstep. The Black Sea coast is so close you can hear the waves from some rooms, and trust me, that’s not something you get everywhere in the city center. What really surprised me was how quiet it stays despite being so central. You know how some hotels claim great locations but then you’re dealing with street noise all night? Not an issue here. Plus, there’s easy parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Batumi will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

My room was genuinely comfortable — not huge, but thoughtfully laid out with everything you actually need. The bed was solid (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom was modern without trying too hard to be trendy. What I really noticed was the attention to cleanliness and the little touches, like decent lighting for reading and outlets where you’d actually want them. The air conditioning worked well too, which matters more than you’d think during Batumi’s humid summers.

The hotel restaurant serves both Georgian and international dishes, and while I wouldn’t call it destination dining, the food is reliably good and the prices are reasonable. I had khachapuri there one morning that was honestly better than some I’ve had at fancier places. The staff seems to know what they’re doing — service was efficient without being rushed, and they were helpful with local recommendations when I asked. The kitchen maintains high standards for both breakfast and dinner service.

  المكان نظيف والاطلاله رهيبه يبعد عن باتومي 40 دقيقه على حدود الشمال التركي ، يوجد مطبخ متكامل ، توجد بقاله 10 دقائق بالسياره
  رحنا ورجعنا لباتومي مع بولت متوفر سيارات طول الوقت تقريبا 30 ريال ذهاب و 30 ريال عوده ..

  The view is breathtaking. The accommodation had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was kind and patient and even offered to take us anywhere we wanted when our rental car broke down…because of a malfunctioning key.
  
  What could be improved: The A/C upstairs was quite loud. There wasn't hot water all the time, but it didn't bother us because the weather was very hot.

  The location of the property is positioned high up on the hill facing the sea. This is the main feature of the Marco Polo.
  
  What could be improved: 1.The description made by the owner was mentioning the main feature of the property being an access to private pool/« jacuzzi  »…when arriving on the spot we discovered this wasn’t true. When I asked where was the jacuzzi described in the add, the owner indicated the standard bathtub in the bathroom…
  
  2. On the second night of our stay the other cabin was rented by a group of party kids who played hardcore techno music the whole night. This altered the cosy and romantic night we had envisaged.
  
  3. It was impossible to ask a refund to the owner who had ask me to pay on arrival and left after the first night. The poor reactivity of booking.com customer service didn’t help either.
