Boulevardside Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Boulevardside on Lech and Maria Kaczynski Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building has this interesting mix of contemporary glass and traditional Georgian touches that somehow works really well together. You know how sometimes hotels try too hard to be modern? This one actually nails it without feeling cold or sterile.
The location is what really sold me on this place, though. I mean, you’re right in the heart of Batumi but on a street that doesn’t get completely crazy with traffic noise – which, trust me, matters when you’re trying to sleep after a long day exploring the city. The boulevard itself is literally a two-minute walk, so you’ve got that whole seaside promenade thing happening whenever you want it, but you can also duck back to somewhere quieter when the crowds get too much. There’s this little café around the corner that the locals go to (I think it’s called Café Central or something like that) where you can get proper Georgian coffee, not the tourist stuff.
What impressed me about this four-star spot was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – like, really know it. The guy at reception gave me directions to this amazing khachapuri place that wasn’t in any guidebook I’d seen, and he was spot-on. The rooms themselves are solid, nothing too fancy but everything works properly. The shower pressure is good (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and the air conditioning actually keeps things cool during those humid Batumi summers. I stayed on the fourth floor and could see glimpses of the Black Sea between the buildings, which was a nice bonus I wasn’t expecting. The Wi-Fi is reliable too – I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had issues with calls dropping or anything like that. Honestly, for the price point, you’re getting way better value than some of the flashier places closer to the beach that charge twice as much just because they have “sea view” in their name. The whole area comes alive in the evenings, with families walking around and street vendors selling those amazing Georgian pastries, but it settles down by around 11 PM, so you’re not dealing with party noise all night.
To book a hotel in Batumi during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this vibrant Georgian resort draws visitors eager to experience its subtropical climate and modern seaside architecture.

We chose this hotel because we really liked the rooftop pool, the view from the balcony, and the great reviews about the breakfasts. The property lived up to our expectations. We had read reviews beforehand, and it’s true — the service here is excellent! The receptionist helped us several times during our stay and made it even more enjoyable. The same goes for the staff by the pool and at breakfast — very friendly and kind people.
The rooms are clean, there’s great music by the pool, and you can order food and interesting drinks. I highly recommend this place and I’m really glad we chose this hotel for our holiday in Batumi.
We’ll definitely be recommending it to others!Exceptional – George from Georgia – May 25, 2025 (10/10)
