Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Luxsor Room in ORBI CITY, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, and honestly, anything connected to ORBI City can feel pretty touristy. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible.

The location on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is pretty smart, actually. You’re close enough to all the ORBI City action – those massive towers and the ferris wheel that dominates the Batumi skyline – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of crowds and street performers. I mean, it’s maybe a 5-minute walk to the main complex, which is perfect when you want to grab dinner or check out the casino, but you can actually get some peace when you head back to your room. The street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central, though I’d still recommend packing earplugs if you’re a really light sleeper – this is still Batumi, after all.

What really got me was the attention to detail for what’s technically an apartment-style setup. The five-star rating might seem ambitious for this type of accommodation, but they’ve clearly put thought into making it feel luxurious rather than just functional. The room I stayed in had this great view of the city (well, depending on which way you’re facing – some rooms look out at other buildings, so maybe ask when you book). The kitchen setup is actually useful too, not just decorative like in some places. There’s a proper fridge, decent cooking facilities, and they stock it with basics so you’re not scrambling to find a grocery store your first night. The bathroom’s modern and spacious – good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of town.

I will say the building’s lobby feels a bit corporate, sort of like you’re walking into an office complex rather than a hotel, but once you’re up in your room it’s a different story entirely. The staff knows their stuff too – they helped me figure out the best route to the botanical garden (take the cable car, trust me) and pointed me toward this little Georgian restaurant about two blocks away that I never would have found otherwise. The whole experience felt more personal than I expected, especially considering how busy this area gets during summer season. If you’re planning to stay here between June and September, definitely book ahead – the place fills up fast, and for good reason.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel everything was perfect👌🥰The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and welcoming.
  Just one small clarification for future guests: the room has one full-size bed and sofa beds (can sleep 2 or 3 people). In the description, it mentions "one full bed, one king bed," which can be a bit confusing. 🥲
