Hotel Peria Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Hotel Peria on Zurab Beridze Street, you immediately get the sense that this three-star property punches above its weight. It’s not flashy or trying too hard — just a solid, well-maintained building that feels welcoming from the moment you spot it. The entrance has this understated charm that honestly made me feel more at ease than some of the fancier places I’ve stayed at in Batumi. The location itself is a major draw for anyone seeking authentic local experiences combined with easy access to tourist attractions.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re right in the heart of what locals consider the best part of town. I mean, there’s a reason this area gets such high marks from visitors. You can actually walk to most of the places you’ll want to see, and the streets around here have that perfect mix of local life and tourist-friendly spots. The fact that there’s parking available (and it’s free!) is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving, because finding a decent spot in central Batumi can be challenging. The neighborhood truly offers the best of both worlds for travelers.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up without any unnecessary frills. The beds are actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What struck me most was how quiet it was at night, despite being in such a central location. The windows do a good job of keeping the street noise to a minimum, which meant I actually got decent sleep. This attention to comfort really sets the experience apart.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here have this nice, unhurried feel to them. The breakfast setup isn’t elaborate, but it covers the basics well — fresh bread, local cheese, eggs prepared how you like them. I found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, partly because the dining area has these big windows that let you watch the neighborhood come to life. There’s something satisfying about starting your day while locals are heading to work and other travelers are planning their adventures. The restaurant area creates an inviting atmosphere for guests.

Why Guests Love It

What really makes Hotel Peria work is how it gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the relaxed atmosphere — it’s romantic in that genuine, unforced way that comes from good location and thoughtful service rather than over-the-top gestures. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you have what you need, and they’re surprisingly knowledgeable about the area. Plus, when you’re paying three-star prices but getting this kind of location and service quality, it just feels like you’re getting away with something. This hotel represents excellent value for discerning travelers.

  • Good option for budget stay in Batumi – Zuzana from Czech Republic – August 6, 2023 (8/10)

Good choice for budget stay in Batumi. Hotel is very well located and staff is very friendly. They had been very helpful when we needed to leave our luggage at hotel all day on after our check out. There is a nice terasse on the rooftop of hotel where you can see city from different point of view. Around the hotel are shops and very close to city center and area with coffees, restaurants and so. Room is small but when you are there just to sleep over and you spend whole day out you dont miss anything there.

  • Batumi, March 4 – Julia_gol from Russia – March 6, 2023 (8/10)

Budget room, good wi-fi. It was quiet, nothing bothered to sleep. An acceptable option to stay for a few days

What could be improved: The smell of tobacco smoke when the air conditioner is running. Perhaps there was smoking in the room. It would be nice to clean the air conditioner

  • Staff Welcomed very warmly with respect. Well managed and good for Families – Fayyaz from United Arab Emirates – February 1, 2023 (9/10)
