It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street – Memed Bedia – where you’d never expect to find such a gem, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the beach in Batumi, but instead of dealing with all the chaos of the main tourist strip, you get this peaceful little sanctuary that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical guesthouse.

The whole setup is refreshingly unpretentious for a three-star place – the garden they mention in the name isn’t some fancy landscaped affair, but rather this lovely, slightly wild space where you can actually sit with your morning coffee and hear birds instead of traffic. The owners (who live on-site, I think) have this way of making you feel welcome without being overly chatty, which is perfect when you just want to decompress after exploring Batumi’s old town or spending the day on the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works, the WiFi is solid, and the beds are actually good quality, which honestly matters more than fancy amenities when you’re planning to spend your days out exploring. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, even during summer when the city gets pretty lively – something about that residential location just buffers all the noise from the main areas.

Practically speaking, it’s one of those places that just works without any drama. Check-in was smooth, parking isn’t a nightmare like it can be closer to the boulevard, and you’re close enough to everything that matters – the beach, decent restaurants, those little wine bars that locals actually go to – but far enough away that you can sleep properly. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you stay there; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does offer is exactly what most people actually want from a place to stay in Georgia’s seaside city. Plus, and this might sound small but it’s not, the shower has proper water pressure and stays hot, which after a day of walking around in Batumi’s humidity is basically heaven.

  This hotel is location ON THE BEACH. We had a beach view room with balcony and it was amazing. The hotel is self-serve concept and equipped with everything you need for your stay there including well equipped kitchen. There is also a washing machine and a dryer for the guests use. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the support we needed.
  
  What could be improved: The only disadvantage of this place is being positioned next to train rails so when trains goes by its kind of noisy. It didn't bother us too much to be honest and I think this hotel has great value to it's price

  Guest house Garden Beach is such lovely place. I found only pluses. Location is very cool. In one minute sea, without crowd. To Batumy you can go by taxi, by bus or other ways, it's not a big deal. Lovely restaurant and canteen is also near by house and you don't need to think what you should have for dinner. We booked 3 rooms and all of them were perfect. I think the best option for booking is rooms on the third and fourth flour with sea side view. Kitchen has all staff for cooking even juice maker. And the last floor is the perfect place to spend dinners with beautiful sunset. My recommendation and enjoy your time.

  It is more of a furnished apartment with a kitchen downstairs. Wish we were there for a few more days to enjoy the place as well as Batumi.
  
  What could be improved: The car parking is at the station which was a bit far away. It is impossible to locate unless the staff/owner shows one in, which he did in our case of course.
