Hotel Green Glass Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Hotel Green Glass on Vakhtang Gorgasali Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name had me curious, and yeah, there’s actually a lot of green glass in the facade that catches the light pretty nicely, especially in the late afternoon when the sun hits it just right. It’s this three-star place that sits comfortably in the heart of Batumi, and I mean that literally – you’re right in the thick of things without being on top of the crazy busy boulevard where all the tourists swarm.
What really won me over, though, was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or confusion about what was included, and the guy at the front desk gave me these really specific directions to a great khachapuri spot around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but everything works like it should. The beds are actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly matters more than you think after a long day walking around the city. I stayed on the fourth floor and could hear a bit of street noise in the morning, but it’s not the kind that keeps you up at night – more like the gentle hum of a city waking up.
The location is what really makes this place work, though. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk to the seaside boulevard and all those flashy casinos and restaurants, but you’re also close enough to the old town that you can actually explore some of the quieter streets where locals hang out. There’s a little market practically next door where I grabbed fresh fruit and Georgian wine for way less than you’d pay near the beach. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but honestly, with all the incredible food options within walking distance, you don’t really need one. Parking can be a bit tricky – there’s not a dedicated lot, but we managed to find street parking without too much hassle. I’d definitely stay here again, especially considering the price point. It’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without trying to be something it’s not, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re more interested in exploring the city than hanging around your hotel room.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.

Reviews of Hotel Green Glass
Wonderful – Vladimir from Russia – July 2, 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location. A lot of cafes, restaurants and shops around, banks, Georgian post, etc. A couple of minutes walk from 6 May Park. Comfortable and quiet rooms, much quieter than you can expect from Chavchavadze/Gorgiladze area. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Next time I visit Batumi I will most probably stay here again.

Enjoyed! Worth staying there! – Kuziuberdina from Belarus – December 22, 2022 (9/10)
Our parents stayed at the hotel for a vacation. The location was great, near the park and the sea. All the markets were nearby, as well. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. One of the guy helped to set up the TV so that they could watch football championship:) and They also changed one room because something was wrong in the first one. Breakfasts were tasty.:) And the parents were absolutely pleased with the gift at the end of their stay! They really appreciated it!
