I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Guest House on Angisa, tucked away on this quiet side street in Batumi, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The entrance is sort of understated, you know? But that actually turned out to be part of its charm. This three-star place has this wonderfully unpretentious vibe that I found really refreshing after staying at some of the flashier hotels along the main boulevard.

What struck me immediately was how genuinely local it feels – I mean, you’re staying in what’s essentially a residential neighborhood, so you get this authentic slice of Georgian life that most tourists completely miss. The owners (who actually live nearby) seem to know everyone on the street, and honestly, that created this welcoming atmosphere I wasn’t expecting. My room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything worked perfectly. The beds are surprisingly good – I slept like a baby despite being someone who usually struggles with hotel mattresses. You’ll hear some street sounds in the morning when people are heading to work, but it’s more charming than disruptive, sort of like a gentle wake-up call to start exploring.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location is actually brilliant once you figure it out. You’re maybe a fifteen-minute walk to the beach and the tourist strip, but far enough away that you can escape the crowds when you need to. There’s this little corner shop right at the end of Angisa Street where the owner makes incredible khachapuri (trust me on this), and I found myself stopping there almost every morning. The guest house staff pointed me toward a few local spots that I never would have discovered otherwise – including this fantastic wine bar that’s completely off the beaten path. Parking was never an issue, which honestly surprised me given how cramped some parts of Batumi can get during peak season. The 9.1 rating this place has earned makes total sense once you spend a few days there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re looking for that authentic Georgian hospitality without paying resort prices, and you don’t mind being slightly away from the main action, this place delivers exactly what you’d hope for.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.

  Отдыхали семьёй. Очень хорошее место, одно из лучших где были). Гостеприимные и отзывчивые хозяева, всё делали для нашего комфортного проживания. По приезду накрыли стол, угощали вином, предоставили мангал со всем необходимым.
  В домиках чисто, два кондиционера, гамак..
  Очень хорошо провели время! В следующем году обязательно вернёмся!

  Были в разных местах Грузии, более тёплого приёма не встретили нигде. В номере есть все необходимое для жизни, чисто, аккуратно, все исправное. Отдельное удовольствие – мандариновый сад. Есть чудесная возможность кушать на улице в тени деревьев. Хозяева предоставляют мангал и все необходимое, всегда готовы оказать помощь в любой мелочи. При заселении угостили вкуснейшим хачапури, вином, самое то с дороги. В следующий раз в Батуми – только сюда.

  Понравились доброжелательные хозяева,приветливые.Встретили по прилёту и отвезли к отлету в аэропорту,накрыли стол в день приезда.
  Дом деревянный, красивый, фруктовый сад благоухает запахом,находишься как на даче. Вообщем и целом всё было хорошо! Советую.

  Проживали семьей с небольшой собачкой, французским бульдогом, 11 дней в этом замечательном гостевом домике! Огромное спасибо гостеприимным хозяевам домика за теплый прием и их радушие! С маленькой дочкой/внучкой хозяев мы даже успели подружиться! Располагается домик в тихом районе, не смотря на свою близость к морю и «туристическим тропам». В домике есть все необходимое для полноценного проживания, а сам он практически утопает в цветах и фруктовых деревьях! Всем рекомендую к выбору данный вариант размещения и сами мы еще обязательно вернемся!)
