Pheria Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Pheria on Demetre Tavdadebuli Street, you immediately get the sense this is a place that knows its audience. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — this three-star hotel sits comfortably in its category, offering solid comfort without the pretense. The building has that clean, modern Georgian style that’s become popular in Batumi over the past few years, and honestly, the entrance feels welcoming rather than intimidating. The location itself speaks volumes about the property’s character and appeal.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I really appreciate about this spot — you’re actually in a residential area that feels authentic, not touristy. Demetre Tavdadebuli Street runs parallel to some of Batumi’s main arteries, so you get the best of both worlds. You can walk to the city center in about 15 minutes, but when you come back at night, it’s quiet and peaceful. The couples who stay here seem to get this balance — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of the city while still being close to everything that matters. This neighborhood truly offers an exceptional experience for travelers seeking authenticity.

What Your Room Delivers

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place — clean, functional, with enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly. The beds are comfortable and supportive, and the bathroom is modern with decent water pressure. What surprised me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re still in the city. The windows do a good job blocking street noise, which isn’t always a given in Batumi. You’ll find the overall design thoughtful and practical for extended stays.

Practical Perks That Matter

You know what’s actually useful? The free parking here. If you’re driving around Georgia — and honestly, having a car opens up so many possibilities for day trips — finding secure parking in Batumi can be a real headache. Pheria takes care of that problem completely. The staff seems genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They’ll give you actual directions to places, not just point vaguely down the street. This level of service makes a real difference during your stay.

Why Guests Love It

This hotel works because it delivers on its promises without overselling itself. Recent guests consistently praise the location, and after staying here, I get why — you’re close enough to walk to Batumi Boulevard and the beach, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise every single moment. The value proposition is solid: you get a clean, comfortable base for exploring the city without paying for amenities you probably won’t use anyway. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually want to come back at the end of the day, rather than just crash because you have to. The overall experience justifies the investment completely.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Batumi through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best districts for experiencing the city’s resort atmosphere and maritime heritage.

Reviews of Pheria

  • It's small modest and clean place – Alla from Spain – August 17, 2025 (7/10)

In general it's ok, nice clean simple room. Not very big. Air conditioner works good, wifi ok. And there is a dark curtains that's very useful! Simple bathroom. Location it's ok as well. Receptionist was very friendly, when I asked to put down the TV voice he did it without any problem.

What could be improved: 1).In my stay was ok, but I stayed just one night. But there are every rooms are close to each other and reception as well, so, if in case there could be stay a big company or loud people everybody will hear everything. It's just question of luck to have good neighbours.
2). The price (on my opinion) was just a little high. Or maybe because was July..
