Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first pulled up to Eiffel Hotel on Gorgiladze Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in modest packages. This little gem sits in one of those residential neighborhoods where you actually get to see how real people in Batumi live, away from the glitzy casino strip that everyone talks about.

The thing that really struck me about this place is how the staff genuinely seems to care – I mean, the owner (I think it was the owner) remembered my name by day two and always asked about my plans. The rooms are clean and honestly bigger than I expected, with decent air conditioning that actually works when you need it most during those humid Georgian summer nights. The bathrooms are renovated and modern, which is more than I can say for some pricier hotels I’ve stayed at in the region. What I really appreciated was the little balcony in my room where I could have my morning coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up – there’s something really authentic about hearing kids heading to school and seeing neighbors chatting over garden fences.

Now, if you’re looking for a pool or fancy restaurant, this isn’t your spot. But here’s the thing – you’re literally a fifteen-minute walk from the boulevard and the beach, and there’s this incredible khachapuri place just two blocks down that locals actually go to (not one of those tourist traps). The hotel sits on a quiet street, so you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM like you do near the main strip. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s a residential area, but the staff helped me figure out the best spots. I actually ended up walking everywhere anyway because the location is surprisingly central once you get your bearings. The whole experience felt more like staying at a really well-run guesthouse than a typical hotel – which, depending on what you’re after, could be exactly what you want or completely wrong for you.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.

  I stayed here for one night. Easy for find and friendly staff. They bad speak English but good well Russian. Please keep it mind. Good balcony
  
  What could be improved: For able to turn on electricity you always need to put chip which belongs to keys. For me it wasn’t comfortable because I would leave some technical things for charging while I explore the city.
  Half door in shower that’s mean sometimes a water will go away from the shower cabin.
  Hairdryer has bad smell and not possible to switch intensity but at least he works

  They cleaned the room every day!!!! And the breakfast was pretty good. Traditional khachapuri for breakfast!
