You know what surprised me most about Comfort Inn ☆ Orbi City? The fact that this five-star place manages to feel both upscale and genuinely welcoming at the same time. I mean, I’ve stayed at plenty of fancy hotels that make you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, but this one gets the balance right. It’s tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, which honestly sounds intimidating when you’re trying to give directions to a taxi driver, but it’s actually in this perfect sweet spot – close enough to Batumi’s main action without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos.

The location really works in your favor here. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Boulevard (that’s what locals call the main waterfront promenade), but you don’t get the constant noise of street performers and late-night revelers that can keep you up if you’re staying right on the strip. I actually appreciated being able to step outside and grab coffee from one of those little Georgian bakeries nearby – there’s something about starting your morning with khachapuri instead of hotel continental breakfast that just feels more authentic. The staff seems to genuinely know the neighborhood too, not just the obvious tourist spots. When I asked about finding a good pharmacy, they directed me to a local one rather than the overpriced hotel shop.

What really impressed me was how they handle the details. The rooms are properly soundproofed – no hearing your neighbor’s TV through paper-thin walls like you get at some places. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (I tested it in the lobby, my room, even the elevator). And honestly, the housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive. They seem to have figured out that perfect timing where they’re not knocking on your door at 8 AM but your room is still ready when you need it. The whole place has this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile – lots of natural light, comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a catalog. I especially liked that they provide those little touches that show they understand travelers: enough outlets near the bed, a decent workspace if you need to catch up on emails, and blackout curtains that actually block out the light. Parking was straightforward too, which isn’t always a given in Batumi’s busier areas. It’s one of those places where you can tell the management actually stays at their own hotel sometimes – everything just works the way it should.

Early hotels booking in Batumi requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary beaches, modern casinos, and Georgian cultural attractions.

  Their professionalism is top level, they keep tidy the room constantly and make their clients to help them. Moreover, Wi-Fi connection is great. However, there wasn’t any ashtray, and detergent. Also, shampoos wasn’t enough for our stay, 3 days.
