But walking up to this place on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I was actually pretty impressed. It’s this sleek, modern building that somehow doesn’t feel cold or corporate, you know? The lobby has this warm, welcoming vibe that immediately told me this wasn’t your typical chain hotel experience.

What really got me was the sea view situation – and I mean, when a hotel puts it right in the name, you’re naturally skeptical, right? But honestly, the views from the higher floors are genuinely spectacular. You’re looking out over the Black Sea with Batumi‘s coastline stretching in both directions, and if you time it right during sunset, it’s pretty magical. The rooms themselves feel spacious and well-thought-out, not like someone just crammed in as many beds as possible. The bathrooms are particularly nice – good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled through this region will tell you isn’t always guaranteed. I stayed during peak summer season and was pleasantly surprised that the air conditioning actually worked efficiently, even during those humid July nights when the sea breeze just isn’t enough.

What makes this five-star property stand out isn’t just the amenities though – it’s the little details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The staff genuinely seems to know the city well, not just the tourist traps but the actual good spots locals go to. When I asked about parking (because let’s face it, driving in Batumi can be… an adventure), they had secure options that didn’t involve circling the block fifteen times. The location is smart too – you’re close enough to the action on Rustaveli Avenue and the Boulevard, but far enough up the hill that you’re not dealing with the late-night party noise that can plague some of the beachfront places. The walk down to the central areas takes maybe ten minutes, which is perfect for working off those Georgian feast calories. I will say the neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night, which I loved, but if you’re someone who wants to stumble directly from hotel door to nightclub, you might want something closer to the casino district. The 8.7 rating this place gets makes total sense to me – it delivers on what it promises without the pretentious attitude you sometimes get at luxury hotels.

  Wonderful stay by the sea! The apartment was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped. The staff were friendly and attentive. Since the elevator area was under renovation, we were welcomed at the main reception and given our key card. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed our time here

  The location is quite close to the beach and not too far from the center of Batumi. Our two-bedroom room with a sea view was furnished adequately for the price.
  
  What could be improved: On the beach promenade, there are many attractions with very loud music playing from the afternoon until late at night. The windows in the building are not soundproof, so the loud music can be heard in the rooms even at night.
  We also didn't have a good experience with the elevators. In such a large building (50 floors, several dozen apartments on each floor), there are only 12 elevators in total (capacity 1050 kg), which, especially on weekends, causes long waits (10-15 minutes) when leaving the apartment.
  The apartment had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TVs in every room, a washing machine, a microwave, a kettle, and a small hotel refrigerator built into the kitchen unit. What was missing, however, was basic dining equipment. In the kitchen, there were 2 coffee cups, 3 tea cups, 2 wine glasses, and 1 water glass. There were 3-4 pieces of cutlery, but only 1 teaspoon. Other equipment included 4 cutting knives, 4 dinner plates, 1 bowl, and only 1 medium-sized pot for cooking. After complaining at the office, we were subsequently brought 3 more teaspoons, but they didn't have any other dishes.
  The cleaning of the apartment before our arrival was not thorough; there was significant dirt on the floor and hair in the drawer. The shower cubicle was probably the worst, with damaged fittings and holders, and prominent mold in the corner of the shower cubicle behind the sliding doors. The owner doesn't seem to take much care of their apartments and doesn't repair damaged equipment or replenish missing items.
  We will definitely avoid staying at Orbi City on our next visit.

  The apartment was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and offered stunning sea views. Everything was exactly as described — or better. The hosts were polite, responsive, and truly professional. We felt well cared for from the moment we arrived. Would gladly return and highly recommend to others seeking comfort and quality.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Batumi! The hotel's location is superb, just a short walk from the beach and right in the heart of the city. The room was cozy and clean.
