I’ll be honest – when I first walked into City Romance, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place tucked away on Yusufa Kobaladze Street. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you’re not trying too hard to impress anyone, and this little apartment hotel gets that completely.

The location is actually pretty clever if you know Batumi at all. You’re far enough from the main tourist chaos around the boulevard to get some decent sleep (trust me, summer nights in the old town can get loud), but close enough that you can still walk to everything that matters. I mean, the building itself is one of those typical Georgian residential blocks – nothing fancy on the outside, but once you’re up on the 19th floor, the whole city kind of spreads out below you. The elevator ride takes forever, honestly, but the views make up for it. On clear days, you can see all the way to the port and those weird modern towers they’ve been building.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels more like staying in someone’s well-kept apartment than a hotel room. The owners clearly live in Batumi – you can tell from all the little touches that actually work for the climate here. Good blackout curtains (essential when the sun comes up at 5 AM in summer), proper air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and – this matters more than you’d think – really solid WiFi. I spent a few mornings working from the little balcony with my coffee, watching the city wake up below. The kitchen setup is basic but functional, which is perfect if you want to grab some of those amazing Georgian pastries from the bakery downstairs and have breakfast without dealing with hotel restaurant prices. Speaking of which, there’s this tiny khachapuri place about two blocks away that locals actually go to – not the touristy ones with English menus, but the real deal where they know your order after three days.

The whole experience just felt refreshingly normal, if that makes sense. No one’s trying to sell you spa packages or convince you the hotel bar is the social hub of the Caucasus. It’s clean, comfortable, and run by people who seem to actually care whether you figure out how the shower works or find a decent place for dinner. I had a small issue with the door lock on my second day, and instead of some complicated maintenance request system, the owner just came up and fixed it in about ten minutes while chatting about the best beaches outside the city. That kind of personal attention is getting harder to find, especially at this price point. Would I stay here again? Absolutely – it’s the kind of place that lets you experience Batumi like you’re actually visiting, not just passing through on some tourist checklist.

Hotel in Batumi booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally celebrated music festivals and beach events at modern venues.

  Просто шикарная квартира! Очень уютная, красивый интерьер, есть все необходимое для жилья. Вид супер! Важно, что нет больших очередей на лифт, как в основных корпусах Орби. Море рядом, куча супермаркетов, аптек и Молл. Спасибо Юрию за коммуникацию и удобный заезд и выезд!

  Дистанционное заселение. Удачная локация. Рядом море, много заведений, торговый центр.
  Чистая квартира, хорошо обставлена. Чайник, кондиционер, стиральная машина – все работает.
  
  What could be improved: Не смотря на размещение апартаментов на 19 этаже, шум от оживленной дороги был очень сильным. Вероятно, если бы дверь балкона была бы не сломана, вопрос бы не возник.
  На балконе располагается кондиционер, для слива из него ведро 15 л. за 3 дня оно заполнилось, замена самостоятельно.
  Мыло и гель для душа предоставлены не были.

  Хорошее расположение с видом на море.Если кому интересно.Я прихожу только спать в номер,поэтому вид из окна особо не интересует никогда))
  В аппартаментах чисто,есть даже одноразовые тапочки/щётки.

  What could be improved: Забронировал номер за несколько недель до приезда с оплатой по факту въезда.Курс немного изменился,и цена стала дешевле.Но хозяин потребовал цену,за которую изначально были забронированы аппартаменты.Первый раз с таким столкнулся.Это немного подпортило впечатление.

  Есть необходимые кухонные принадлежности, а также сахар, соль, перец, масло, чай и кофе, что редко встретишь в Грузии.

  Отличные апартаменты с уютным балкончиком и видом на море.
  
  Апартаменты новые, чистые и комфортные. Есть все необходимое для жизни – кондиционер, стиралка, фен, утюг, микроволновка, чайник, тапочки, сушилка, гладильная доска. Есть минималистичная кухня и утварь для простой готовки.
  
  Отличная локация, на первом этаже магазинчики, аптеки, кафе, рестораны, обменник. Рядом небольшой овощной магазинчик. С парковкой никаких проблем! Место всегда есть. Хочется сюда вернутся снова. Рекомендую.

  Очень уютная студия. Почувствовал себя как дома, есть всё необходимое для отдыха и проживания. Тихо и комфортно отдохнул после перелета. На первом этаже аптека, супермаркет и ресторан. Шикарный вид из окна и балкона на море и ночной город.
  Теперь буду останавливаться только здесь. Превосходное расположение. До аэропорта всего 15 минут. Рекомендую!
