Cabo Verde Boutique Hotel Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Cabo Verde Boutique Hotel on Amagleba Street, I almost missed it. It’s tucked into this quiet residential area that feels like a world away from the tourist chaos near the boulevard, but you’re actually just a few minutes from everything that matters in Batumi. The building itself has this understated elegance that you don’t always find in Georgia’s coastal hotels – no flashy neon or over-the-top lobby, just clean lines and this lovely stone facade that actually fits the neighborhood.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. I mean, this is a four-star place, so you expect decent service, but there’s something different when the front desk person remembers you mentioned wanting a quiet room and actually follows through. My room faced the internal courtyard rather than the street, which turned out to be brilliant because Amagleba can get a bit lively in the evenings – not rowdy, just… alive, you know? The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than just pretty. Sure, everything looks good (love those local textiles they use as accents), but more importantly, the lighting actually works for reading, the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint, and there are enough outlets in sensible places. Small things, but they add up when you’re trying to recharge both yourself and your devices after long days exploring the city.

The location really is the secret weapon here, though. You’re close enough to walk to the Piazza and the main shopping area in about ten minutes, but far enough from the beach crowds that you can actually think clearly. There’s this little Georgian bakery around the corner that locals hit up for morning khachapuri – I stumbled across it by accident and ended up going back three times. The hotel doesn’t make a big deal about breakfast (it’s decent but nothing revolutionary), so having that authentic option nearby actually worked out perfectly. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town, but the hotel has a small lot, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you might not need your car much anyway. The whole area is very walkable, and when you do want to venture further out along the coast or up into the hills, marshrutkas and taxis are easy enough to flag down from the main road. What strikes me most about this place is that it feels like someone put real thought into creating a comfortable base for exploring Batumi without trying to be the main attraction itself – and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Reviews of Cabo Verde Boutique Hotel

  • Wonderful – Khojamirova from Georgia – August 23, 2025 (9/10)

Nice staff, good view and breakfast, attentive housekeepers.

What could be improved: Poor wifi connection

  • Very Good – Kayleen from United States – August 17, 2025 (8/10)

Great value for money, the staff were also very kind. They had a laundry service which has great!

What could be improved: We went to the pool but were eaten alive by mosquitoes.

  • Exceptional – Stanislav from Bulgaria – July 13, 2025 (10/10)

    Everything was wonderful.

  • The hotel is nice, beautiful. The weather spoiled our plans we would have stayed longer – Elena from Georgia – June 30, 2025 (8/10)

Beautiful clean hotel, kind helpful staff, good breakfasts, comfortable beds.

What could be improved: Noise from cars (poor noise insulation) hotel near the road

  • Very Good – Arash from Iran – June 4, 2025 (8/10)

The hotel was amazing — clean, cozy, and well-located. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s very close to the railway station, which was convenient, and although there was some noise, it didn’t bother us — though light sleepers might notice it.

What really stood out was the hospitality: everything was spotless, and on the day we checked out, they even packed us lunch to take with us — such a thoughtful touch!

What could be improved: The only small downside was that housekeeping didn’t replenish the shampoo after the first day. But overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it.

  • Good value for money – Stanislavs from Georgia – June 1, 2025 (9/10)

Clean and comfortable small hotel just outside of Batumi. Both nights had good sleeps despite vicinity to the road. Staff is very friendly, the breakfast is ok, except for the coffee. In overall good place to stay if you are with the car and don’t mind to stay a bit outside of Batumi.

What could be improved: Im cutting one star for not having a good coffee machine. I think it’s a must for any hotel nowadays.

  • A true holiday starts in a place like this! – Тагизаде from Azerbaijan – May 29, 2025 (10/10)

From the very first moments, we felt right at home — only with a better breakfast and no dirty dishes! The staff were welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to Aftandil — it felt like he knew what we needed before we even asked.

The room was spotless and cosy, with thoughtful little touches that set the mood: soft lighting, a comfortable bed, and a fresh, clean scent in the air.

And the view… that’s a story on its own. You wake up, pull back the curtains — and there it is: the beach sparkling in the sun like a dream postcard. Sipping your morning coffee with that view beats any spa experience.

The location? A gem. Everything you need is just around the corner!

We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for an atmosphere that money simply can’t buy.

  • Exceptional – Abdullah from Saudi Arabia – May 27, 2025 (10/10)

    Everything

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Very Good – Anastasiia from Germany – May 21, 2025 (8/10)

The view from the room was amazing! The staff were really nice and helpful.

What could be improved: Unfortunately, Georgian SIM cards didn’t work very well there, and the Wi-Fi was down during our stay.

  • Exceptional – Surajit from India – May 12, 2025 (10/10)

Just 6 kms away from main Batumi center.. But very peaceful boutique hotel with balcony facing the black Sea.. The sunset from the balcony is just amazing. Rooms had good air conditioner and necessities.

What could be improved: Nothing as such.
