Breathe Inn Overview
You know what surprised me about Breathe Inn? The name actually makes complete sense once you arrive there. Nestled in the Khelvachauri area of Batumi, this three-star property sits in what feels like Georgia’s version of a secluded valley – particularly in the Qvemo Djocho neighborhood where the air truly feels different from the busy Black Sea coast just minutes away. I mean, you’re still close enough to catch the distant sounds of the city, but there’s this strange sense of being separated from it all that I wasn’t anticipating from a mid-range hotel.
The location in Erge is honestly quite smart when you consider it. Most visitors focus on staying directly in central Batumi near the boulevard, but this place offers you that authentic Georgian experience without the tourist pricing. The drive into the property meanders through some truly lovely countryside – nothing too spectacular, just gentle hills and the kind of genuine Georgian architecture you don’t find in the polished travel magazines. What really struck me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the surrounding region. When I inquired about hiking spots (because honestly, that’s why you’d stay out here), the front desk guy didn’t just give me a standard pamphlet – he sketched me a little map to a trail that locals use, complete with advice about which sections get muddy after rain.
The rooms themselves are tidy and comfortable in that straightforward way that actually works better than overcomplicating things. You’re not getting marble bathrooms or thread-count boasting rights, but everything operates properly and there’s this welcome honesty to the entire setup. The beds are firm – perhaps too firm for some guests, but I slept wonderfully. What I really valued was how peaceful it becomes at night. In central Batumi, you’re dealing with street noise and party crowds until quite late, but out here you get genuine silence interrupted only by the occasional dog barking in the distance. The morning views from most rooms overlook the Georgian countryside, which beats gazing at another hotel building. Check-in was seamless, parking is simple and free (good luck finding that downtown), and honestly, the entire experience felt more like staying at a well-managed guesthouse than a commercial hotel. If you’re the type who wants to discover beyond the typical Batumi beach scene and doesn’t mind a brief drive to reach the main attractions, this place provides exactly what it promises – nothing more, nothing less, but executed properly.
Hotel in Batumi booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally celebrated music festivals and beach events at modern venues.

Reviews of Breathe Inn
Exceptional – Veronika from Russia – October 22, 2024 (10/10)
It's an amazing house for two. The house was very clean and though it's small, it's well and stylishly furnished, there are few different "zones" with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
It is located not very high in the mountains, but above the village. So this is a place for those who love nature and want to wake up in the morning and step on the grass. There are a lot of different opportunities in the garden to sit with peaceful and amazing views on the mountains, valley and stars. For those who like hiking like we do, there are excellent paths/roads that starts right from the house. There are even more of them, then you could find on the map.
Hosts are a friendly couple. Tamara and Murman are ready to help with everything, but at the same time they will leave you alone in this wonderful and quiet place.
Highly recommend!Great place with lots of trees, big yard for BBQs, nice balcony, and a super helpful host. – Tatia from Georgia – September 15, 2024 (10/10)
This property boasts an idyllic location surrounded by lush greenery and tropical trees. The spacious yard is perfect for outdoor entertaining, whether you're grilling a barbecue or enjoying a glass of wine under the stars. The balcony provides a delightful spot for a leisurely breakfast or simply relaxing. Our host was exceptionally accommodating, adding to the overall excellent experience. This stay truly offered the best of both natural beauty and modern comfort.
One of the best locations we have ever been! – Marvin from Germany – August 24, 2024 (10/10)
The host was super nice and helpful and the location with the view was stunning! It’s important to have a 4-wheel-drive to reach the location but it’s fun to drive up there.
The host even gave us his location grown vegetables for our bbq.
We loved it and we will definitely come back!Cozy, silent and calm place to stay – Aleksandr from Georgia – August 17, 2024 (10/10)
It was an amazing trip! The place is located far from the noisy city and slightly above the sea.
It's like you are living in a country house near the mountains with a splendid view around. The hosts are very kind and helpful, they will meet you and escort you back to the meeting point near the Gulf gas station as the road to the place is difficult to ride on your own.
I highly recommend staying here, it's very calm and refreshing!Exceptional – Anastasia from Georgia – October 10, 2023 (10/10)
