Boutique Hotel 32 Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Boutique Hotel 32 on Gogebashvili street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a fairly modest building tucked into a residential area of Batumi. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t scream for attention from the street.
The moment you step inside, it’s clear this three-star place punches way above its weight class. The lobby has this warm, almost homey feel that immediately puts you at ease – nothing flashy, but everything’s been chosen with care. I mean, the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive, which is refreshing after dealing with some of the more tourist-mill hotels closer to the seaside boulevard. The check-in was smooth, and they actually gave me useful local tips without me having to ask – like which marshrutka to take to get to the botanical garden without dealing with the tourist markup on taxis.
What really won me over was how quiet the place stays, even though you’re still close enough to walk to the old town and the beach area. Gogebashvili street itself is pretty residential, so you get actual sleep at night instead of the party noise that drifts up from the main strips. The room itself felt more like staying in a well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel – there’s attention to detail in the linens and bathroom fixtures that you honestly don’t expect at this price point. The WiFi actually works properly (I was working remotely during part of my stay), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to recharge between exploring the city. The breakfast situation is solid too – not a huge spread, but fresh local bread and proper Georgian cheese, plus they’ll make you a decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since morning. I ended up chatting with other guests over breakfast most days, which gave the whole place a relaxed, almost guesthouse vibe despite being a proper hotel. Location-wise, you’re maybe a fifteen-minute walk from the main action around Europe Square, but that distance is actually perfect – close enough to dive into Batumi’s nightlife and casino scene when you want it, far enough away to escape when you don’t.

Reviews of Boutique Hotel 32
Nice Stay at Boutique Hotel 32 – Imran from Saudi Arabia – September 4, 2025 (10/10)
Boutique Hotel 32 sent their men to help us lift our luggage to our respective floors. They have a spacious room with Big Bathroom. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it. The location of this hotel is exactly opposite to Borjomi Cable car which was the highlight of our trip. You can enjoy the cable car view from the dinning area of this hotel.
Exceptional – Anonymous from France – September 3, 2025 (10/10)
Very helpful staff, excellent location, perfect breakfast, big, comfortable and a very clean room with a view to the port and the sea. Charming!
Wonderful – Marc from Netherlands – August 23, 2025 (9/10)
Friendly staff, nice size room. Location is very busy, but not too far from the boulevard. Room looked clean.
Nice base to enjoy Batumi – Peter from United Kingdom – August 9, 2025 (9/10)
This is a straight forward hotel which does what it says on the tin. We had a family room which was a decent size and had a balcony. There was a good air con and there is a good parking inside an inner courtyard. The breakfast is quite pleasant. Around the hotel it feels a bit chaotic at first but once you acclimatise you'll find many good value local services nearby like mini markets and food outlets. Just on the edge of the old town.
What could be improved: For the beach there is a bit of a walk from the hotel, but it is very pleasant way through the old town or along the coast road.A Boutique Hotel that lives up to its name – Saqib from United Kingdom – July 31, 2025 (10/10)
Clean rooms, helpful reception staff, great breakfast
What could be improved: No lift so try to get a room on a lower floor. It is at the corner of two busy streets so can be noisy if like us you don’t use A/C and prefer to sleep with windows openReasonable price with best staff and service! – Jiahan from China – July 19, 2025 (10/10)
