Adjara Boutique Hotel Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Adjara Boutique Hotel on Lermontov Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this three-star place tucked away in the heart of Batumi. The building has this understated charm that doesn’t scream for attention, which honestly ended up being one of its best qualities. You know how some hotels try way too hard? This isn’t one of them.
What really struck me was the location – I mean, you’re literally a five-minute stroll from the Boulevard and even closer to the old town area where all the good cafes are hiding. The staff actually gave me solid recommendations for khachapuri places that weren’t tourist traps, which tells you they know their neighborhood. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully designed without being flashy. I stayed on the third floor and could hear a bit of street noise in the morning (Lermontov Street gets busy around 8 AM), but nothing that kept me awake. The shower pressure was surprisingly good – you’d be amazed how often that’s an issue in boutique places. What I really appreciated was how they handled the little things: decent WiFi that actually worked throughout the building, a proper coffee setup in the lobby that wasn’t some sad instant coffee situation, and they even had local maps marked up with genuine recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots.
The whole experience felt authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find. This isn’t some polished chain property where everything’s perfect but soulless – it’s got character, and the 8.1 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re paying for. If you’re the type who needs a pool and room service, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid base for exploring Batumi without breaking the bank, and you appreciate staying somewhere that feels connected to the actual city rather than isolated from it, this place delivers. The morning light in those rooms is gorgeous too, especially if you’re up early enough to catch the city waking up. Just don’t expect them to have English-speaking staff around the clock – basic Georgian phrases or a translation app will serve you well here.

Reviews of Adjara Boutique Hotel
The actual condition was completely different from what is shown on Booking. – Tamar from Georgia – September 7, 2025 (1/10)
Only location
What could be improved: We were not informed that the room was not ready, and after a 3-hour delay we were placed in another room. Unfortunately, the bathroom was very dirty: the toilet paper was badly moldy half-used.the sink had not been cleaned for a long time. Couldn’t touch anything. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Communication with the owner was difficult, as they did not understand Georgian, and the person who did speak Georgian was not always available. In addition, there was a notice in the room stating that bringing food or drinks from outside was prohibited, otherwise 20₾ would be charged from my account . Due to these conditions, we left the hotel the very next morning.в целом хорошо – Kapanadze from Georgia – September 1, 2025 (8/10)
Отличное расположение, Персонал очень приветливый, Думаю, воспользуюсь услугами этого отеля еще не один раз.
What could be improved: откровенно говоря, снимки на сайте сделаны лет 10-15 назад. Многое с тех пор изменилось. Можно было бы обновить.Pleasant – Tamar from Georgia – August 31, 2025 (6/10)
For the price good value
What could be improved: Water stream could be better in the morning, when all guests take a shower at the same time. Vmbut in other parts of the day it’s okGood – Ina from Georgia – August 28, 2025 (7/10)
The location is very good. At first there was a misunderstanding with the administrator, but he kindly offered us drinks, which was a nice gesture. It is quiet at night.
What could be improved: The bathroom could have been cleaner — the floors were dusty, and the taps and shower were not very pleasant to use. The pillows were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. Also, the administrators do not speak Georgian, only Turkish and English.Very Good – Emin from Azerbaijan – August 21, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: Интернет был слабый
Wonderful – Oğuzhan from Turkey – August 18, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: The place is not safe. We were robbed from inside the room. The officials were informed and they said that the surveillance cameras are not working, so we have to leave for another place i need to cancel my booking i already check out in 06/07/2025Very Poor – Eliso from Georgia – October 7, 2023 (2/10)
The name of the hotel was probably the nicest thing about it.
What could be improved: There is nothing "boutique" about the hotel. Facilities below average.
