Best Western Premier Batumi Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Best Western Premier Batumi? I honestly expected just another chain hotel when I first walked up to that sleek building on Zurab Gorgiladze Street, but this place actually feels more like a boutique property that happens to wear the Best Western badge. The location is pretty smart too – you’re right in the heart of Batumi without being stuck in the tourist chaos near the boulevard.

The five-star rating isn’t just for show here, which I’ll admit surprised me a bit. The lobby has this modern Georgian flair that doesn’t feel forced or touristy – think clean lines with subtle nods to local design elements. What I really appreciated was how quiet my room stayed despite being on a fairly busy street. The soundproofing actually works, unlike some places I’ve stayed in this part of town. And honestly, the view from the higher floors is something else – you can see the Black Sea stretching out beyond the city’s mix of old Soviet blocks and new glass towers. The staff seemed genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions, and a few of them spoke solid English which made things smoother.

Here’s what sold me on the place though – it’s positioned perfectly for exploring both sides of Batumi’s personality. You can walk to the old town and those charming cobblestone streets in about ten minutes, but you’re also close enough to the modern waterfront area with all those wild architectural experiments they’ve been building. The hotel restaurant surprised me as well; I mean, I usually skip hotel dining, but they do this Georgian-international fusion thing that actually works. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve driven around Batumi, you know that’s not always a given. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect (the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, and the WiFi had some spotty moments), but it delivers on what matters most. If you’re looking for something reliable with a bit of style in central Batumi, this place hits that sweet spot between comfort and location without breaking the bank.

The luxury concierge service in Batumi offers personalized access to private casino experiences, fine Georgian dining, and VIP cultural events in this vibrant Black Sea resort city.

Excellent location, close to the center. Great staff. Clean, accessible and very tidy hotel. Nice gym and excellent pool.

What could be improved: The breakfast is relatively poor, but the closing time of 11:00 a.m. allows people who come to rest to not feel stressed.

  • Good – Oksana from Israel – April 23, 2025 (7/10)

    Clean rooms, good breakfast

What could be improved: The room we ordered wasnt availliable. They gave us two regular rooms instead of a suite without prior notice. After we couldnt find an alternative hotel for the same day, We had to insist to get a discount.we travel with small kids so the order of a suite was important to us.

Upon checkout we had to wait in the loby for someone to check our rooms, they dont do this with all guests, I didnt have this experience in other hotels
