I’ll be honest – when I first saw Batumi – Sea Tower & Residence from the street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard residential building on Kobaladze Street. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t scream for attention from the outside.

This three-star spot sits right in the heart of Batumi, and I mean actually in the thick of things – not some “conveniently located” nonsense that turns out to be a 20-minute trek to anywhere decent. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Batumi Boulevard, which honestly makes all the difference when you want to grab dinner or just wander down to the beach without planning some major expedition. The building itself has this dual personality thing going on – part hotel, part residence – which actually works in your favor because it feels less touristy and more like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually live.

The rooms are… well, they’re solid. Nothing fancy, but everything works properly, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Georgia. The Sea Tower part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either – if you get a room on the higher floors, you actually do get glimpses of the Black Sea between the other buildings. It’s not a postcard view, but there’s something nice about catching that bit of blue in the morning. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the city center. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day (it’s Batumi, after all), but nothing that kept me awake. The staff genuinely seemed to care about helping out – not in that overly rehearsed hospitality way, but like they actually wanted you to enjoy your stay. One thing worth mentioning: parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, so if you’re driving, definitely ask them about it when you book.

Here’s the thing – this isn’t going to be your Instagram-worthy luxury experience, and that’s exactly why I’d recommend it. It’s the kind of place where you can drop your bags, take a proper shower, and then get out there and actually experience Batumi without feeling like you need to spend half your time justifying the hotel cost. The location puts you within easy walking distance of the old town, the new boulevard developments, and honestly some of the best khachapuri spots in the city (though that’s a whole other conversation). For what you’re paying at a three-star level, you’re getting way more convenience and comfort than you’d expect, plus you’re staying somewhere that feels authentically connected to the city rather than isolated from it.

  Много места, 2 мини балкона со стульями, большой стол. Есть тёрка, достаточное количество сковородок, кастрюль и посуды. А также раскладная сушилка, гладильная доска, утюг, фен, пылесос. Интернет работал неплохо для Батуми. По вечерам часто видны фейерверки.
  
  What could be improved: Стёкла были грязными, что портило замечательный вид. По ночам с четверга по воскресенье до утра громыхает музыка, которую слышно через закрытые окна – это не вина номера, просто особенность расположения.

  Super lokalizacja blisko centrum, blisko plaży i wszelkich nocnych atrakcji. Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona. Klimatyzacja działa niezawodnie. Ochrona budynku całodobowa. Bez karty do windy nie można wjechać na piętra za to duuuuży plus.
  
  What could be improved: Właściciel nie uprzedził nas że karta do windy ma limit 25 wjazdów (na dół można bez karty) koszt nie wielki tylko 5 lari ale dobrze by było o tym wiedzieć.

  Very nice and cozy place with the sea view! Check-in and check-out were very chilled and flexible. Two AIs were great for two rooms!
  
  What could be improved: currently there’s a construction right next to the building. It’s loud and annoying during the day. But closed windows solve it.
